Hopefully fixing the rediculous traits we get on undaunted chests now.. or how over nerfed the Sorc is or nevermind, rampant cheating.... na probably some animation issue..

What even went wrong? why are we not allowed to know anything? I can see why if it was an exploit but it apparently wasnt. if its just like "there was a typo in one of the armor sets" im gonna get mad. What coudnt wait till you atleast had a fix ready for testing?

Lol, wish it was, but no... Happened in every other games, then driver started crashing, then just youtube videos and gifs started doing it too.

Luckily I was still 1 month away from the 3 year warranty expiration, so EVGA will provide me a replacement

(though I did buy another one so the replacement is probably going to and old computer :P )

It was a major failure/damage to the VRAM - the video RAM memory or "the place where all the rendered frames are stored and used in real-time"

doubt it was a Typo lol, But it must be pretty dam serious if they had to Shut the EU & NA Servers down because normally they wouldn't do that. The "waiting" game isnt fun, but there fixing something so at least that's the bright side.

I agree that it's a bit extreme. That's more than the entire cost of the DB DLC. Maybe 500 instead, enough to really say thanks & sorry, but not enough that they shoot themselves in the foot.

Or even better, put crown packs back on sale...that way they'd make the best of an unpleasant situation, and both they & we win...that gets my vote <g>

ESO Plus members pay the cash equivalent of 50 crowns per full day of access. Current retail value of today's unplanned downtime: Less than 10 crowns. If they want to compensate us for the inconvenience, maybe they can bump it up to 20 crowns. Till then, go outside. It's almost summer! (Retail value of summer: 30 billion crowns.)

it worked perfectly fine to me - this is a really awesome perk for ESO+ - and all the items are now in categories, so that you have a quite good overview of what you have and what might be missing. You do as well no longer have to take out the extra mats for alchemy and enchantment writs - that goes directly from the crafting bag into the delivery box. All mats you buy or pick up go automatically into the crafting bag - and when you change to another character, he/she has the bag with all stuff right where he/she is - no need to transfer crafting stuff via the bank from character to character anymore.

I'm not a subscriber, but I could really use 100 crowns. As it stands, that's the difference between me having to get the 3000 or 5500 crown pack for the things I'd like to buy. Kinda wishing there was a 100 crown pack for $1.

those are avail to everyone that wants to buy them. they originally stated we would heave areas that were subscriber only, not subscriber and anyone who wants to buy it straight out. not the same thing at all. we don't even get thank you pets anymore. as silly as those are at least it was nice to feel like ZOS still cared we were there.

I have to say this, my disappointment at two releases having major problems, very little word about 'what and when' are almost out balancing my love of Elder Scrolls, which goes back to Arena in the early 1990s. I am sure people worked hard on this release and still are working hard to get it running for us.

Before I retired I was an IT pro working for a major British Multinational. If we let a system upgrade out with this size of downtime, as soon as it went live, then serious questions would have been asked and straight answers supplied. People would have wondered about their livelihood. If we did it again just 3 months after a similar incident......

I feel for the guys at ZOS.

My disappointment remains unassuaged and my mind is considering what my future with this game will be. I long to see the far corners of Tamriel that ESO promises. I did that on Arena and Daggerfall, but without the vibrancy that ESO brings. As each new release came I glimpsed corners that became more real as technology changed and allowed better immersion. ESO I hope will tie those corners together. Every Elder Scrolls had warts, we love them all for those warts. This is more than warts. This threatens my dream and I don't think I am alone amongst those die hards who now stroke their chins and wonder.

Get a grip guys, please?

Crafting bag is just a different tab in your inventory menu that is account wide. Very simple. Has nothing to do with why the servers are down.

The problem was is that it was NOT account wide. Some characters had access to a few items, others more, but none, as far as I could see in the limited time i had access to the game, all. I didn't have time to see if there was any correlation to crafting skills and amount of material available.

I think they meant they were trying to figure out the relation of the crafting bag with the issue they are fixing, not its usefulness. Its usefulness is quite obvious

Also, there's a great addon that gives "subcategories" to all your invetory categories. It's called... ermm... Item Categories, I think? :P
