On one hand , I feel sorry for Zos. To have something like this go wrong on a release date is no picnic . Especially with anxious/bored/eager/impatient players not playing , but in the forums.
On the other hand my download is at 34 % , soooo you have until the other 66 % to complete before I join the anxious/bored/eager/impatient players

Maybe they found a way to ban or fix the cheat engine and trainer software that lets you freeze stats and get insane dps and the one that lets you spam meteors over and over not dps but meteors per second. Either way an ETA WOULD BE the first thing I tell my clients. I want 2500 crowns for this or the new kitty mount since you enjoy taking my money every month.2 -

To begin with, in most MMORPGs, issues like maintenance have already been agreed upon by being able to play the game, that the developers are NOT responsible for "economical loss".
Secondly, have you even considered what you loose? 1 day you loose an ice cream, at most. The most expensive subscription plan is €12.99 per month, which gives €0.43 per day, so I mean that literally.
Thirdly, are you really that addicted to the game, or if it is greed over a few pennies? Then you might need the break, to think your life over.

✭i'm getting really peeved by this, 3 hours and not even an answer? 3 hours on patch day...i'm sure this isnt the record, but this is BAD...this should have been fixed before hand. servers were fine before you took them offline, no reason you could not have done the fix and taken the server down for a few minutes to instal it0 -

Yeah pretty much, QA sounds great.
I was on PTS testing as best I could, watching most there playing with the oh shiny, while I was trying to find and feedback bugs.
Doesn't help that you can't really test lag and big events well with only a handful there either, that is why I guess so many things get through to live.
So PTS test the shiny but please also check older stuff isn't broken, and remember on pts if you do all the shiny with every pts character you'll still need to do the same on live sometime.Edited by Coolio_Wolfus on May 31, 2016 10:31PM1 -

Do they even know if the contract says something like "we can take down the servers whenever we need for maintenance and as long as the service is up (let's say...) 70% of the time, no refund can be asked for"? It's fairly easy to demand our "rights" without taking note of our commitments, obligations and the things we agreed to on these terms that 99% of the people just skip :P3 -
