Would a non eso plus craft bag be fair?

The same question was asked yesterday in reverse. Maybe if you rephrase and ask again tomorrow the answer will be even less in your favor.

It's not 180 a year, it's more like 120 if you buy 6 month subs (unless you're on console)... plus you get the 180,000 crowns and DLCs included. I realize some people don't want to sub but I think it's totally fair.

I had to learn from you and take a similar approach. I would have thought the game better, If I could keep all of my items, and use the NPC's as little as possible.

The way I have my mules set up, is they dedicate about 60/70 slots to crafting mats, leaving the other slots (out of 170 to 200 total they have) free for game play purposes. So, I take my Enchanter into battle while carrying all the Enchanting mats, but I still have room to gather loot and hold on to dropped set items.

Only one of my mules does not do this, and this is the one who holds all the dropped and crafted set items I want to keep. However, this mule would be doing this even after crafting bags are out.

I think the subscriber only perk is a great idea, but they do need to do something to fix inventory management in-game. Perhaps more bank space upgrades, as those can be purchased with crowns or in-game gold.

Not the full unlimited bag for all. I'm good with that being a sub perk; but there are things that could be done to make life a little better for those who don't have enough reason to sub. What, you ask? Oh, simple things like making all identical items stack. I'm an altaholic so I keep basic motif books for new alts since I can't just learn them once for the whole account. They don't stack. Crafted items like glyphs and gear which are identical in every way don't stack in personal inventory or the bank.

I made a pile of fire staves to level up woodworking so I could put another point into it. I had to stop and go sell them to clear room in my inventory to make some more because there were a dozen identical wooden sticks sitting there. The effort of making glyphs and transferring them to the bank for another alt to deconstruct or use is needlessly tedious already it doesn't have to be complicated by having a dozen (or more) identical glyphs moving from my inventory to the bank to someone else's inventory all of which must be cleared enough to hold them for the transfer.

I quit playing last night because I just got tired of the run around when all I wanted was to upgrade one character's weapon. My woodworking crafter had the right level but not enough points for the wanted tier and had no points to add nor could she go acquire the point without doing some game leveling of her own. I went to a different character who had the tier level and points to make a needed piece of armor but didn't have an extra point to put into woodworking for the needed staff so I went to a third character who had a spare point to put into woodworking but needed to level it one point (hence the crafted sticks) but he did not have enough traits to make the staff I wanted (because I gave all the trait research to the crafter). So, I went back to the original crafter to make a low level staff in a trait he didn't have, put that in the bank, went back to him so he could take it out and begin the research. Tuesday I can call him back to make the staff I wanted on Saturday. If that doesn't exhaust your patience just reading it then you are a better man than I am, Gunga Din.

The lack of stacking while making fire sticks just added to that whole burdensome issue. I think bottomless craft bags would be wonderful but I can't subscribe to everything and I'm already on Xbox just to play. I do think just a little help for the rest of us in the form of better stacking would be kind.

Personally I feel like the lack of bagspace is a basic design flaw of the game and should have been fixed as part of the basic game, not something you have to buy on top of the game.

I agree that ESO plus members should have special benefits and things that entice people to subscribe. I just don’t think the bagspace fix is one of those things.

I feel like this is a case of selling me something that’s broken just so you can sell me a wrench too.

really ive spent almost 150 usd just in the last 6-7 months for dlcs and mounts costumes , but mainly for dlcs plus i paid full price for the game 80 dollars add that in + the dlcs + some mounts costumes etc pretty much equals up so dont talk liek you know math without the facts

When I first bought the game on console, I bought the IC DLC immediately as well as the upgraded Imperial Edition. Only after purchasing these did I notice the subscription perks, but since I already paid for the most up to date DLC's at the time, I felt that subscribing would essentially be paying a second time for content that I already had. Since then I have bought Orisinium, TG, Crowns on many occasions as well as the banker. I continue to do it this way now for 2 main reasons.

1) Since I am now at the CP cap, vet ranks are being removed, and have the majority of research done, the perks of subscription are lackluster.

2) I currently can afford these things as they are offered. If circumstances in my life change, which they may soon, I may not be able to justify a subscription to my future ball-and-chain. I would rather buy them as they come out, so that I will retain them. Since I have been paying for DLC's as they are released I will most likely continue to do so for this reason.

If they offered a craft bag in the crown store I would purchase it. If it is only given to subscribers, it would not be incentive enough for me to subscribe, and I will continue to manage inventory as I have been.

I understand that current subscribers would like to have it be exclusive, and I can't really argue with their point.

Perhaps subscribers could have an unlimited crafter bag space, but they have a limited option that is purchaseable or could extend the player bank slots to 300 for crown purchase as a compromise?

As someone who doesn't sub I think its great that ESO+ gets a great perk, if it appeared in the crown store as a one off purchase would I buy it? As long as the price wasn't stupid probably yes. As I like to keep at least some of each crafting material inventory management is an issue (its solvable with alts and/or guild banks but its a hassle). I keep raw materials, food/drink for writs etc on me and usually have around 80 items on me, that's fine as it gives me 120 spaces to play with and by the time I'd fill that up I'd want to be going back to town to repair anyway so I can just bank at the same time. I try to keep some of each crafting material in case someone wants something made and along with the other stuff I keep I'm on 220 something out of 240 so I've got a bit of room but not loads, and I don't have any provisioning ingredients in my bank as its simply not possible for me to do that as well. My concern is that as new dlc's come out and additional items to keep are added to the game I'll find myself having to clear certain categories of items (low level crafting mats I'm looking at you first). The additional storage requirements could be covered by extra bag and bank upgrades but I worry these wont happen to try and force people to sub so they don't have to put up with ever more hassle managing items. I'm hoping the crafting bag ends up being a timed exclusive for say a year and then it will be added to the crown store while ESO+ gets a new perk

I'm not a subscriber myself, and think it's fair that this is an ESO+ reward.
Haven't even fully upgraded my bank or bags, and do all 6 crafts (althoug I don't research everything), and thus far haven't run into any issues with bank space on my VR3 character (no mules). Maybe people should stop hoarding like there's no tomorrow. Mind you, when playing other TES games I was a fanatic hoarder myself, but with this one I've learned to adapt to the limitations in inventory space, and it works. I mean, what use do I have to cotton? All my unneeded mats go into the guild bank, for other crafters to use and share. The only thing I hope is that we'll still get goods in our bank, instead of subscribers just hoarding it all.

That said, however, it would be good if we do see two changes for all users;
- The ability to purchase additional bank slots. Especially when DLC like DB adds reagents.
- Please change the guild bank to function as a regular bank when it comes to stacking items. It would save so much hassle not having to manually stack the six stacks of 5 flipping ginger in the guild bank every week by taking it all out, stacking it and putting it back in. Same goes for withdrawals... let us have a slider like the regular bank for withdrawing mats. So that we don't have to take it all out, split stack, and put stuff back every time we need a few units.

At first I was supportive of everyone getting it but got dang you guys just make x200 threads about it now made me change my mind. SUB for 1 month deposit your stash and then carry on like you did before, when your bank starts becomming a problem again re-sub for 1 month. Seems perfectly reasonable...

It is not game breaking - just far more convenient.

For me it was a tough decision. I only voted yes because i felt there were more financial opportunities for the Dev team in it. But it should be very limited and pricey, especially since it will be a purchased forever option.

Housing shouldn't be locked, but I think that the craft bag is a 'luxury' item, and feel it is fair to give it as a type of 'loyalty' award to those who continue to support the game.
One of the reasons I buy things from the crown store too.
I certainly will never use all the mounts and costumes I purchase.
