Define "best" trading guild. You will usually find the biggest and most active guilds in Rawl'Kha and Craglorn.

I dont know why those guilds that are in less populated (i.e..less popular) area's dont offer discounts on their goods to draw attention to their store via word of mouth. I'm on XB1 NA AD and my friends and I love The Rift Guild Traders because we almost always find good deals there. I cant recall the last time I bought something from Rawl'Kha, Craglorn or Elden Root.

The 'best' doesn't exist. It depends about what you like. That's for every player different.

Well best is going to be one of two things.

    Cheapest prices

    Most stock.

To me, best means the place I can get what I need.

Still need to know what region and platform. PC/NA as far as shear quantity and quality I'd say Mournhold, Rawl'Kha, Craglorn. Best deals? Searching around some of the smaller outposts.

I can't believe the guilds that are in Rawl'Kha even sell anything given the prices they chatge. Talk about a joke. I can literally go anywhere else and get the exact same items wayyyyy less. Dont see what makes that place so special to everyone. On ps4/na side between the constant drone of the morons and ridiculous pricing I can't stand even setting foot in the place. Like the Jr High hangout in ESO.

On PS4 - EU it isn't better. Most guilds have...weird prices. Like still asking 4K for a blue motif. Ok. lol

And price cutting is the norm.

    What's "best"?

    The best as a buyer?

Or the best as a seller?

The best for selling/buying nonvet wares?

The best for selling/buying endgame stuff?

There is no "best" trading guild. I buy and sell in multiple guilds. And I like that flavor and diversity.

It's more than the trading alone.

Some guilds have a website and the members do communicate a lot with each other. But most are rather silent.

I have my own guild and I'm still in 4 other guilds. If I mail the Guild Masters of these guilds, I'll be lucky they'll answer after 3 weeks. If they answer at all. lol

Ok, most people don't care, but I do.

Some Guilds demands each week 5000 gold, so they can pay ridiculous prices for a trader. Some players don't mind, other say 'hello? 5000? Not in this life'.

Some Guilds teach their members tricks and provide useful information, most share nothing.

But indeed, there's no best. It's what you like and need.

My guild is not a dedicated Trading Guild but it has its own website (still tweaking it though lol) and I hope to grant my guild members the ability to communicate and stuff there as well. I mean everyone is always complaining about text chat so I can just use my website to provide it basically, at least within my guild and any visitors that happen upon it.

Well heck shoot me an invite on Xbox na, my gt is "Cunning Nimbus", my guilds have failed to acquire any good spots for over a month and I am way more than willing to pay 5-10k weekly if the guild has a good spot more often than not.

1.) all crafting stations are in very close proximity relative to other major cities AND you don't need to go through a loading screen for any of them (that last one is HUGE, btw, especially now where most loading screens take at least 20-30 seconds).

2.) the thieves hideout is very close to the waypoint and you can run straight to the closest entrance without crouching to avoid guards. Also this particular hideout loads very quickly for some reason in comparison to other hideouts (Craglorn, I'm looking at you).

3.) the bank is literally right next door to the waypoint as are the guild carts.

The close proximity of everything important and the lack of loading screens make crafting and selling a very quick business in Rawl'Kha. So you're going to have a ton of people doing their writs in this location (=lots of potential customers). Speaking for me personally (and I'm sure I'm not the only player that feels this way), I'm willing to pay a price premium to buy products from the guilds in Rawl'Kha, given how much quicker it is to get everything I need to do done there.

Makes me kind of sad that I'm almost done with Gold and I have yet to find a city that is as conveniently setup as Rawl'Kha is. I feel that every region should have a city that this easy to navigate and do business in and it's a bit unfair that AD players have this little advantage over players who start out in the other alliances. Our time is valuable, ESO.

He is correct and it is the reason I usually park my toons there. However, I refuse to rip myself off with exorbitant prices so it all comes down to knowing what you want and how much you're willing to pay. It's the willing to pay bit that tends to fuel an outrageous economy though.

True I started out scoffing at people who would pay for the rights to be in a well located guild. But it's not until you have had 3+ good spots, then next week you have 1 or fewer good spots that you realize " holy crap I made a lot more gold last week". 5k is chump change compared to what I would make at a primo spot.

Riften and Eastmarch. I've found some really fair/decent prices for mats and other items I've been looking for. Riften, in my opinion, is just slightly more inconvenient since the traders are at the other end of the city and outside of it.

I joined Guilfoyle 2 weeks ago. Struggling to save up 100k for something at the time. Since then, I have donated 50k, spent about 600k, and have 200k saved up. JMO, but it would be crazy to believe it is not worth donating 5k a week to belong to a top guild. I will never leave. XBox NA

Back when I traveled the globe looking for the best deals I came to this conclusion: DC zone guild traders charged way too much EP zone guild traders were less, but the best prices were found at the traders located in AD zones. The difference was so night and day between the highs and lows.

I don't shop DC at all now, even a year after my findings, though I do sell some there. EP I occasionally use Mournhold for the ease of location. AD I go around but if too lazy to travel will pay the Rawl prices. It's more of a convenience fee IMO. My time is usually worth more than the few thousand gold I will save by searching all over for an item.
