Give this man a cookie.Well, Lyris calls Abnur a "son of a ***" when she gives him a Nordic greeting ...
Personally I don't care either way. This preoccupation with swear words seems to be an American thing to me, and they don't make or break mature content, imo.
What ESO might deserve is more actually disturbing content. Give me mythical ascension through self-harm, namiric cannibal-feasts and incestuous relationships with clone-daughters over somebody calling me a sissy.
I'm pretty sure a good majority of people stopped playing ESO to go to Black Desert, if for no other reason the "boob's & jiggle" not only in character creation but in gameplay. PHYSICS! (If the mod community for skyrim has had it for years why not ESO???)

At least have the apocalypse wait until I can get a real Katana so I can defend myself properly, Swords don't run out of bullets

Name it precisely - Witcher3 was made in Poland (my fellow countrymen) and by Poles in the majority. Swearing is deeply rooted in our society and what differs ESO from Witcher 3 in this case is that ESO doesn't have PEGI mark "Game contains bad language". Both has PEGI18 and "Game contains depictions of violence".Even though they have a lot of international employees, Witcher 3 was developed in a Central/Eastern European cultural setting.
Pretty much any sword not traditionally made from pig iron.GivvumBoane wrote: »starkerealm wrote: »RAGUNAnoOne wrote: »All the more reason we need a zombie apocalypse to get rid of these mewling milksops before they turn our entire society into diaper-wearing, politically correct weaklings.

But... why would you want a Katana when you could get a sword that wasn't complete and utter garbage?
Such as?
And opinions can also be factually incorrect.GivvumBoane wrote: »Can't label a weapon as garbage without something to gauge it against.Note: any answer to this question is pure opinion, since everyone has their own.GivvumBoane wrote: »See above.

I was stealing stuff and an NPC called me a "son of a dog". I mean, really? How old are we? Five? What's with this fear to use some vulgar language that fits the scene?
If I caught someone stealing my stuff, the last thing I would call them is a "son of a dog"...

Yen. I like Triss, but Yen has more history with Geralt.

Me too, for the exact same reason, even though everybody seems to hate her xD

Triss = stereotype of cute-girl-next-door, with a pretty basic and avarage personality.
Yen = strong and charismatic personality, independant and mature.
I think they're both attractive in their own way, but I'll always lean more toward Yen simply because I think Triss is more common and less interesting.
...then there is also all the history between Yen & Geralt, which I can't make myself ignore.

Probably my favorite in game insult was made by a Bosmer girl npc (dont know/remember her name) expressing her 'disagreement' to an Altmer who made an offensive comment to her.
I suppose she could have just called him a 'son of a b***' or even a 'f***'n moron' and walked away and this would not have bothered me, but this way just seems more suited to this particular game..
