True and the zombies and cannibalism themes are SO tame even skyrims draugr were scarier Oblivion did it right. and the drugs T rated at best for reference but since we can't use them... Alcohol give me a break might as well be drinking tea and even E 10 games have some drunk NPCs. ✭✭✭✭✭Personally I really love it when my games create a gritty sense of immersion, and that also includes pushing the envelope of any "M" rating. As such, I would really adore more of the sort, and indeed pay extra for it if it came as "optional Brutality Pack" or "extra Naughtyness Expansion" - (which would be a good way to go about this IMO - those who want it pay extra, those who don't, won't be bothered by it)
Profanities? Sure, where they make sense - even those too nasty to mention here on the forums, but only when they really make sense, just just to have them in game... but I would prefer them to be fitting into the game world rather then be modern street trash talk...
Blood and Gore? Certainly, both in combat (death animations for gore-heavy weapon kills) and in NPCs - I often find it vexing when all those "badly hurt" NPCs show no wounds or blood at all... makes me think they are faking it! I certainly made this point when discussing a certain Brutality Pack idea
Sexual themes? But of course, as long as its not overdone. Especially if they were to finally fix the bloody underwear, go with medieval-style loincloth instead of modern style briefs&bikinis... and yes, maybe even -gasp- bare chests for females! Shocking, I know... but throughout a lot of history, the girls -really- didn't wear anything under their blouse/tunic/kimono...
You know, whenever they do I am reminded of the old joke about "bull milk" and that makes the insult a lot more dirty...As I recall, one of the worst things a Nord can call you is "milk drinker"....
