✭✭✭✭✭The game as a whole shouldn't be altered based on DLC's. If they start down that path, it punishes all players, those that buy the DLC and those that don't. Why should those that own the DLC's not have vendor access to those two helms just so ZoS can stick it to those that didn't buy? I'd sooner see a game that doesn't bend itself in order to sell DLC and instead bases it's decisions on what's good for the game and lets the DLC's sell themselves based on merit.
Speaking as someone that's farmed WGT to death and has a mule full of helms I'll never use, I say let everyone have access through the pvp vendor. The consistency is better for the game overall.Edited by redspecter23 on May 28, 2016 1:45AM23 -

I think we had enough time to farm Kena. And even so, not every subscriber or DLC owner succeeded on acquiring a Kena Helm, so they have the option of buying it from the vendor too.

That said, people who did buy the DLC got a lot of fun and interesting experiences, as well as easier access to vr16 potency runes etc (via Tel Var Stones), more skill points/skyshards etc. It's not just about the special set items.6 -

How many months have we had IC and Kena helms before anyone else can get them this way? Sure if you don't want to buy DLC and miss the other 90% of the items and wait months for a helm drop... I'll just buy the DLC and go get it now thanks.

On the topic of those without the Imperial City DLC buying a Kena Helm..... do you actually care that much? C'mon. Big deal if others get this. I farmed WGT like crazy and have three Kena helms, two of which are perfect.

\I dont mind it being sold (id rather see a token system though). I guess what I'm just saying is, it devalues dungeons. At least make it so you need the completion achievement for it. ps4 na darkshade used to be ran soooo much it was always easy to find a group. Now I know ,many still farm for it, but nowI hardly ever see it pop for cue. with icp being tanked, districts possibly zerged, wgt/prison nerfed, repora being vendorable, and lastly, kena being sold, whays the point ij this dlc? its the oldest dlc yes, but its the one I use the most.
Thieves guild was a joke, db looks like a joke.. idk.

✭✭✭✭✭Status symbol? LOL. I've looted almost 30 Kena helms. Divines in all three weights. And I don't use it because it's not that good of a helm. Templars and DKs are better off with Skoria. Sorcs and Nightblades do better with Nerien'eth. I do keep a 2p Kena set on my sorc, but I rarely end up using it--shaving a few seconds off of an Overload boss fight usually isn't worth the hassle to swap to it and then swap from it.Nightfighters ― PC/NA and PC/EU
