✭Those players who paid 4000 crowns for this mount just fed ZOS's greed and opened pandoria's box. ZOS knows now that they can get away with establishing high prices for crown store items because players will pay them. Stay tuned for more of the same high prices for items in the future.
Those that bought this for 4k, including myself have no problem paying the price for things we want. I can afford it therefore i will buy it.4 -

You obviously have the money to just throw it away, or don't know the value of the dollar, so buy for your friends too. This costs as much as a full game and almost as much as a full game on release day, an event ticket, taking your car from empty to completely full for a 12 gallon tank of gas, 15 boxes of cereal, a box of Warhammer 40K miniatures, a Box of Warmachine or Hordes miniatures, 2 boxes of Battletech miniatures, 2 small or 1 large X-wing miniatures game expansions, the average single line phone bill, it represents about 3 hours of work for the average income......1

Garldeen✭✭✭✭Prices like this put pressure on those people who like to collect everything in a game. I'm a casual player, who is playing this game less and less due to the direction it is being taken in, so not worried about it, but for the more dedicated players it is an item they need to get, the time limiting sale period ramps up that pressure even more. Starting to move to the stage of being a shop with a game attached, rather than being a game. If only they were as concerned about server perform as creating more things to sell. Eso live is now only on when there is something new to sell, be it doc or mounts etc.
I wonder how much performance would be gained in Pvp if there were fewer horse and costume styles to load....2 -

Daraugh✭✭✭✭✭There is no mount in this game worth 4000 crowns. However, there is no sense complaining. ZOS is not going to listen. Just don't buy it and problem solved. What is really funny is you will be able to buy an additional character slot for a lot less than 4000 crowns.

Same here. I went eeeeee! it's in the store! and I was ready to hand over my crowns and maybe buy another pack if I needed to. After seeing the 4k price tag sitting on top of the TG collector's edition also for 4k, I just stopped.
I've been looking forward to this mount for so long for my all black blue-eyed Khajiit, such a huge disappointment.
If crowns go on sale on the last day, I'll undoubtedly break down and buy it, but not a the full $32 price tag.May all beings have happiness

✭Oh yeah, it look cool, but I agree with many that it is way too high. I'm good with my nightmare horse.. even though I think that is also a bit high too. I also think it blows to have to spend extra few real money to purchase crowns to upgrade within the game. Those perks should be made available with in-game gold, money and XP you earned, like other games. This game is the first of it kind I played so far that you have to spend more real money for in-game upgrades. Heck, you're already spending a lot of money to buy the game itself and the DLC. Luckily, this is an awesome game (when it doesn't crashes.)1 -

It's simple economics. ZOS made a product. ZOS did a cost/demand analysis and came up with a price point they think they can turn a profit on. They aren't holding a gun to anyone's head. You don't have to buy what they're offering. If it turns out that their analysis was incorrect and not enough people aren't buying it, then like any business they'll lower the price until it sells.
Complaining about crown store price is like whining about the price of a Aventador . No, you don't have the disposable income to buy one. No, you're not entitled to one. No, nobody owes you one. Just because you want something doesn't mean you deserve it or are going to get it. Not everyone has 4K crowns (or hundreds of thousands of dollars in the case of a Aventador) to buy the shiny new status symbol.
You don't like the price? You don't think it's fair? Tough. That's life. Don't buy it. And if your sense of entitlement simply can't handle that then stop paying and stop playing. This game is entirely optional entertainment. It's up to the individual whether or not they want to spend their disposable income on new shinnies for the game.1 -

Corvettes are rip offs, they are cars with sub standard mechanics that fail more frequently than many other less costly brands, just like Harley Davidson motorcycles, buy a moped, cheaper on gas/fuel economy, more reliable, and easier to repair, and all for a fraction of the price.
