4,000 Crowns for new Senche Mount Too Much?

4000 is outrageous. Can't believe that. No cosmetic mount should cost more then a DLC, not even half.

Yeah this is just sad and greedy. Sure it sparkles and is pretty, but my corsair is flaming and my frost horse has ice crystals. They did not cost this much and were exclusives. I don't know what zos is thinking especially when it costs more than dlc? I just shake my head....

Here is another problem, the fact the mount is limited yet the Skin is not and you need only do the Maw of Lorkhaj on Veteran to get it will make it so many loyal players can never get the complete set and always feel like they are missing something.

ZoS should keep this item in the crown store permently if they want it to be that expensive because If I cant have the mount then I don't want the Skin either for that very reason.

The way I see it I could buy 2 DLCs for that price, what would give me more content? this WoW mount or 2 Zones with 2 Skillines with several skillpoints and many quests between them?

Thanks for telling me. 4k for a mount is steep. The more people buy it the more often we shall see Limited Edition mounts go for 4k. and I just barely even get that much crowns on a 3 month sub plan.

Next Limited Edition mouth will probably look better and cost 2.5k lol I got enough saved up from my subscription but I'm not going to pay 4k thats just ridiculous.

You will see from other comments that MANY people are buying it at 4K Crowns, so clearly your estimation of pricing strategy is wrong. The same could be said for 'assistants' that people claimed nobody would buy, I did, and so did many others and I use them all the time. Also keep in mind that many people bought Crowns during the half-price sale, so for them, the mount really only cost 2K Crowns. So perhaps next time they have a Crown sale, more people will buy them so that way when 'expensive' items are listed, they can effectively get them for half price.

Guess we are starting to learn why they price stuff in crowns. Buying items with crowns feels less like 'real money' Would be an interesting to see the difference in sales if items were priced in $/£

I like others have crowns stacked up as a member since day one.
So I will get it, but if I would have to spend money on it (buy loose crowns) then I would never buy it!

I do feel it's so much for a mount... I think 3k should be the max.

I considered 2500 for a mount too high already but I caved for the Nightmare mount, but no single vanity item will ever get me to fork over 4000 crown.

Those players who paid 4000 crowns for this mount just fed ZOS's greed and opened pandoria's box. ZOS knows now that they can get away with establishing high prices for crown store items because players will pay them. Stay tuned for more of the same high prices for items in the future.

@Epona222 that's a really great point. I know a few people who have purchased all the limited edition mounts until this one. Chances are they won't really continuing their collection now that it's ruined. #unintendedcosts
