Well pricing things higher in the CS is one way to make up for the loss of those discounted crowns.

Btw I think it's actually not bad that they made such high price. Otherwise you'd see almost everyone riding those Senches.

Something doesn't sit right with me about this 'it's good because other people won't have it" argument. It's elitist to the core. C' mon, didn't you all learn it's important to share.

For everyone that wanted one but didn't or couldn't get one it kinda sucks but there'll definitely be other over priced items and mounts to buy and then these ones will be old news too so it's no biggy.

@Tommy1979AtWar : They already have. It's not sparkly, but it does kind of look like the personification of Sithis (or whatever Shadowmere is) decided paws were in this year. (Note the handprint on the saddle.)

Yeah I've seen those pics a while back, the doom mount does look pretty good with the glowing blood eyes, it's no unicorn that farts rainbows but it is pretty sweet.

Meh . Way too much . The extra crowns must be for the poof sound effect when it appears . I'm not tossing that much at a poof sound . For 4K crowns it would need to be something so awesome like Dracula's Carriage to haul friends around in . Not a single person mount .

Sooo.... I'm not really sure that this adds to the discussion, but this is what I did.

I knew this was coming. I was hoping it would be 3000 and I would have bought 2 months worth of plus and picked it up. I decided the value at 4000 just wasn't there for me. I still was planning on spending some money, so I just ended up buying a different game.

I can't really fault them for pricing it at 4000. Heck if one person went to zos and said, "Hey, I'll give you a million bucks if you make me an exclusive pink bear mount with green particle effects" I'm thinking they'd get what they want. Therefore, if ZoS wants to release something they designed and price it really high then who is to fault them? If enough players want something and it's purely cosmetic and can be justified in the lore, then why not give it to them at the premium price?

I want a Ferrari, a jeep rubicon, a mini-van, a house in Hawaii, a 3,000 acre ranch, go to art school, this mount,and buy a Gibson les paul. As much as I want all those things somewhere down the line, I believe I'm going to have to skip on some of those because of how much a house in Hawaii would cost.

Or I could just buy them later on if prices comes down or I want them bad enough.

I tried it on the PTS (it was available on there sometime prior to TG release iirc) and liked it, but 4k is too pricey for me - I have crowns saved up from my sub, but have always kept crowns in reserve for when they got around to letting us buy extra character slots (I'm an altoholic), and that is happening tuesday, so this mount doesn't have a hope of being bought by me... up to 2.5k I would have given it some serious consideration, but I laughed when I saw the price and immediately dismissed the idea of getting one.

I bought it, i was gonna rant and be annoyed at the price, but... Screw it! The mount is every bit of dope! You summon it and forms out of the ground. It looks badass when you ride it!

Is it worth as much as DLC? No, of course not, which is why its priced so high, not many will purchase it where as many will purchase DLC's.

But I know people will whine about it in the forums, hence page 10...

I have bought every senche up until this one. Not buying because of the silly glowing and the price. Put a snow leapord or albino jaguar that has more realism and I'll bite

Most people on the thread that have commented negatively are just saying they wouldn't want to personally spend that much on this particular item, most people haven't been rude to anyone who did buy it. I don't begrudge anyone who buys it, it's just I consider it too expensive for me to spend money on, given that it's just a mount skin. Like I said, saving my crowns for juicy character slots, the opportunity to buy those at what I consider a reasonable price for them is pretty much the most exciting thing that I am looking forward to next week. Other people who only run a couple of characters will be left bewildered by that, for sure

Honestly, it's the coolest mount by far imo. They definitely put some good work into it, even the spawning of it. I can see why it's 4k crowns... I bought one, I had planned on it since I first saw it. Then again, I usually have crowns sitting there that I don't use on other stuff unless I really want it (case in point this new mount).

I do think they shouldn't be going so crazy with prices in a B2P game.... however if anything they released in the cash shop is justified, it's this new mount. Some of those outfits ...I just wonder wtf they are thinking and they should be able to be dyed.
