@manny254 your fight with us (VE) was fun, but I have to think there was some more action that would have been worth showing. Was your view not that great, and was there not much engaging red preceding your clip? It seemed like a few more clashes between us and between you and red would have been worth including. Regardless, I enjoyed the video and thanks for not killing me (that time).

I vaguely remember that fight, and most specifically remember being cranky and asking afterwards why people weren't blocking or moving off the top of the stairs. I didn't even notice it was us in the vid until halfway through because I was silently shouting 'someone hit an effing repentance' after watching your stam bar. But as my stamplars constantly complain, I probably stole all of your potential repentences xD
There's only one wipe i can remember that I'm still angry about, off chal mine right before we had to respond to ales. I dropped off the wooden platform to engage and the ones that were a second behind were obliterated by a magblade bomb.
I'm very jealous of your mostly bombard free fights, I feel like every fight I'm in is just constant roots and snares no matter who we fight.
Oh yes, we were chasing u guys by the mine, and someone was close enough to the edge I lotus fanned right up into your group and bombed xD. #balance
We rarely get bombed because we are pretty bad at stacking on crown lol.
Lul, it was like meteor fall damage from 1.6, there one second, blink, dead the next. There aren't many times we have similar enough group sizes so I was excited to engage you guys when I checked out the mine and saw how many you had. I dropped down and half the group was instantly dead.
We constantly get bombed, we know the repeat offenders well enough that most of our guys just call them out by name now, block, kill the nb, and move on. Its a PITA when it happens and you're fighting 2+ raids of pact under siege though. I'd take NB bombs over the rapids nerf any day.
Were some good clips in there, and I wouldn't exclude a clip like our fight just because there was a 1-2 person difference, so I'm glad you didn't. Good fight is a good fight, people are far too hung up on numbers imo. If we ever get to a point where anyone complains about a 1-2 person difference we've drinken too much of the forum kool-aid.
Agreed on rapids nerf for sure. It's pretty miserable when only movement can be done by a dodge roll. German was attempting too bomb our group to while we were kiting like a raid of EP and DC so I know how that feels as well xD.
As for number difference, we play in a smaller group to fight outnumbered so we have to accept it. In my opinion you really can't complain about numbers in open world. Like I think it's fun fighting Pact Militia stacked raids, even though it almost always ends in us getting overwhelmed.

Like i dont understand why zos felt rapids needed a nerf. Since when was mobility a bad thing in pvp ?
They could have just let rapids function the same way as purge does right now.
This whole perma root meta needs to change.

I think there where two other notable fights. The first vanzan pushed at the same time, and the second was what zheg referenced at chal mine. Aenlir bombed before that fight, and it was kinda one sided because of that. Out side of that I have only recorded a few times.
I do wish I had been recording more. My biggest missed clip was at Kingscrest. We wiped frozn's group of 16 with 6 people, and a pact militia raid came over to rez them. So many bodies...

Zos logic, obviously people weren't having fun moving around. It only makes sense to change pvp to make movement impossible. /sigh

It was Wheeler and Wrobel's drunken experiment. Everyone labeled ball groups as the source of all evil and of every problem in pvp, and the TG patch was their attempt to "show they care about pvp" and stop the ball groups' evil deeds. Rather than making sober changes to the barrier rotation problem, all at once they gave us: overtuned siege, rapids nerf, purge nerf, barrier nerf, damage increases and mitigation nerfs, forward camps, VD, fasalla's, and free prox dets to everyone and their mother. The patch was meant to be anti group and pro zerg/left click siege hero, and that's what we got. Look how many organized groups are still around, and then look at the remaining campaigns and all of the complaints we see about zerging and unbalanced populations. In a message to Wrobel a few weeks ago I compared it to killing off all of the wolves because you're scared of them/don't like them, and then having an exploding deer population. Take one look at the yellows on haderus, and the reds on TF and tell me we don't have an exploding deer population. If groups could move and forward camps didn't allow the horde to instantly rez up after 3 of their 4 raids wipe, the campaigns would look very different.
The ironic thing is that most of the changes impact me more when I'm solo and in a small group (particularly a small group) because I don't have as many options to deal with the broken crap those two geniuses gave us in TG. My guess is that Wrobel and Wheeler didn't like that groups could move through siege aoe rather than forcing the left click siege heroes to time their shots.
I made a stam alt in anticipation of vet levels going away and I tried out bombard; it's the most brain-dead method of pvping I've ever come across and makes me smh every time I see terrific players get stuck and die when otherwise they would have rekt face. My favorite so far is taking a resource, shooting at the tower door from the GROUND and still permarooting the mage guard above. W.T.F.
Hey - I try to look on the bright side. Maybe soon we'll make vids with super smooth, slow, jazz music as we all move at snail speed.

Well you see, because DAOC, Flame Warden.
Any further explanation needed?
#WaveWeaversareforplebs
The devs describe flame wardens are siegers during keep fights. Not only would you finally be sieging, but you'd be useful. This is perhaps an alliance I could get behind us rolling...
I'd /micdrop, but it would hit the ground so hard it would break and then I'd have to buy another.
How the *** do you you siege?
