SO what will be the top class for the dark brother hood for PVE and PVP now with these changes?

stam dk , and magicka nb . and for last place in PVE it's magicka sorcerer and stam sorcerer

Depend for what use. The highest dps in the world atm is a redguard stam dk. For pvp races like bosmer are really great because stam regen. For any stamina build I'd reccomend pick a class that boost max stamina. You can still be a sucessful player with any race.

StamDK will continue to have no hard counter class except itself, unlike every other class which has at least 1 predator

2 reasons your statement is incorrect (in my opinion)

Best way to kill a nightblade is still mark target. NB biggest weakness/counter is another NB
Templar is its counter class, it increases damage against blockers, able to purge dots, good heals, a lot of damage output from moves that aren't able to be reflected, healing debuff options

I might have to roll a Stam DK but after running a magicka DK for so long I don't like DKs anymore! I know they will be different so hopefully will be fun to play.

This is my ranking of the classes for open world PvP solo/small group while being mostly outnumbered:

1) StamDK, Stamplar (major mending on stam classes is just ridiculously strong, even more ridiculous paired with malubeth)
2) MagPlar, Stamblade (good balance between damage and survivability)
3) Magsorc, Magblade ( decent damage, though both are quite the class cannons)
4) Stamsorc, magDK (never played stamsorc and I am biased about magDK R.I.P. 2014-2015

For PvE it's more than likely that stamDK is going to keep holding the crown regarding DPS. It's already the top DPS class and it is getting a ton of buffs next patch due to new armor sets and their poison dots. Worst sustained DPS class is probably stamblade. Other good classes would be magplar, magDK and maybe magblade (?). Can't really tell about mag and stamsorc. Though I think stamsorc might have some DPS potential. Who knows?

you can go full dot build with next patch if 2H aint your thing.. i mean it won't be the best but still and option

with surge buff stam sorc might be getting better

I see StamDK come out as the best in a lot of threads - to bad I enjoy my magDK so much more... However my StamDK is V1 so it might get more interesting next week with some new maxed out gear

I'm starting to get keen on the idea of just rolling a stamDK and leaving my Stam nightblade for now! 2H and dual wield best for a stam DK?

The strongest PvP setup for stamDK is sword and shield and 2h.
Though that requires to be able to light attack skill bash animation cancel.
2h and bow is a solid choice as well. Bow mostly for the mobility.

you can run that but the most effective are 2H and S&B or bow backbar, i prefer bow for mobility on stam classes

Hmm may have to give it a shot and see how I like it! I did like my StamNB for a while but used 2H and Bow
