In PvE group DPS, no, they do very well. Better than a stamblade. In sustained PvE group DPS, one of the main determining factors in how a class does is how many DoTs that they can work into their rotation. This is why DKs of either variety are king. And why sorcs lag behind (though their burst DPS with Overload lead people to ignore this problem). Stamblades are good at burst DPS. Not so good at sustained DPS.Waffennacht wrote: »Templars (I would guess, especially out of their house lol) would have a difficult time reaching so high.
It was from an ESO Live episode where Wrobel, the lead combat designer (and pet forum piñata) said that Templars are supposed to be a stand-your-ground class that does bad things to enemies who enter their "Templar house".I've seen this 'house' referenced often, and understand it describes prepping the battle field to the templar's benefit, but where is the original material that the term came from?
In case you need some direction, this is a Magicka Templar Bloodspawn test that pulls about 27K self-buffed on the Bloodspawn (only has Pierce Armor, Siphon Spirit, Elemental Drain on boss):

I've changed it around for vMoL a little but this is a good place to start for 4-Man DPS'ing!
