Grouping Bug

For the last few days my main character has been bugged and can't group up. This is unfortunate for lots of reasons, but I sucked it up and soloed through the quests while waiting on emails from the support team (I think I've sent a total of four, discussing this back and forth). However, I've now out-leveled the three dungeons for level 40 by 10 levels. I'm missing skill points and quests (I'm a completionist!).

People can't invite me because it tells them I'm already in a group. When I invite other players, it sends them the invite but plays the error sound when they click accept and doesn't allow them to join.

I have tried the following:
-Relog
-/reloadui
-Tried leaving the group via the group UI. There is no "Leave Party [X]" or right-click option since I'm not even having the "solo party" bug.
-Dying
-/stuck
-Logging out for extended periods
-Using the "repair" option from the launcher
-Grouping on other characters

I'm out of options, as far as I can tell, and I'm feeling disgusted. No dungeons, no Cyrodiil, no public group dungeons, nothing. After choking on this bug for a while, it's becoming game-breaking.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Still no luck, and no resolution from customer service. Surely someone else has had this issue and found a way to fix it...

i seem to have the same problem ... i opened an Support ticket ... but no answer till now ...

We are aware of an issue that can cause some characters to not be able to join groups after using the Looking for Group tool.

While we work to resolve this issue, some players have been able to work around this issue by joining a group in Cyrodiil and then having it disbanded.

If this does not work, this issue will be resolved when the server resets for a patch or maintenance.

Just in general with grouping bugs, it really helps choosing a campaign in Cyrodiil and porting there.

I've previously had issues staying in group with a friend, who already had left group - so he could group up with others etc. but I kept having him in my group shown as offline (he was not) and have leadership of group. It happened several times, and nothing but travelling to Cyrodiil could fix it.
