Should ZOS be more responsive to their Official Feedback Threads?

Yes, it would be reasuring if Devs were more present and transparent in their Feedback Threads
Id like them to communicate more openly with us, perhaps test the waters with our thoughts on a change before they even start working on it, because i think that would stop a good deal of complaints and controversies before they happened

Yes, it would be reasuring if the devs were more present in their feedback threads but they don't need to spend time explaining their decision and direction, just show us that they are listening.
I know over on DCUO the devs, for at least the first two weeks are very interactive with PTS feedback, but then they will just abruptly stop responding altogether and several times make major changes at the last minute and never bother to explain their rational why. It was frustrating for many players because they devoted so much time to testing, only to either have their suggestions ignored or have them heeded, only to have them abruptly change it back just before going Live.

I think the problem with a lot of the feedback they see are strictly from players who do PvP and/or vMA... but that is not the focus of this game... and the devs have to take how changes in those environments may negatively impact the majority of players who do not participate in that content. In other words, if they buffed something specifically because of concerns about vMA, would those buffs make players doing regular questing too OP?

I can only imagine the difficulty that the devs face with trying to balance game abilities for a wide variety of content and player abilities. As the saying goes, "You can't please all of the people all of the time" but so far I've been happy with the changes that are coming with DB game update.

How often do you play your Magicka Sorcerer? Considering we were already at the bottom of the DPS charts in PvE, the changes coming with DB for us are terrible... Shields nerfed, Curse no longer affected by Thaumaturgy, pets are not having their health trippled, while passives are being changed to be even more pet centric, Surge nerfed into a very low sustained heal, Dark Exchange still quite useless... The list goes on...

But back to the topic at hand, at least in DCUO you get the Devs attention for those two weeks! I do agree ZOS seems to listen or get more feedback from PvP and do many of their changes thinking about PvP while mostly forgetting how those will affect PvE. As a PvEr I know how horrible that feels...

No, we don't need the devs reasuring us that they are actually reading their feedback threads.
I know the devs read the posts. It is nice when they explain things. But in my life I have learned not to feed the trolls.
