I like that it completely overrides the vampire skin. I paid for that skin and even if my character is a vampire, it should still show properly on him. Thanks for fixing this issue ZOS.
It's not false advertisement, since the product DID perform as they said.
if they changed that later... well shucks.
Isn't it lorebreaking to be both a Vampire and Mind-shriven anyways?
Ruze is a veteran of the PC Beta, lived through the year one drought, survived the buy-to-play conversion, and has stepped foot in the hells known as Craglorn. He mained a nightlbade when nightblades weren't good, and has never worn a robe. He converted from PC during the console betas, and hasn't regretted it a moment since.
He'd rank ESO:TU (in it's current state) a 4.8 out of 5, loving the game almost entirely.

That is not how it was advertised on vampire characters however, thus making it false advertisement, and making us buy a product under false pretense for something else. An option for it would be even better, though.

I always considered that skin to be broken for vampire characters. I see this as them fixing it to show properly on those characters.

It doesn't change the matter of fact that it was sold under false pretense to all those with vampire characters. The middle image is exactly how we previewed it in the crown store. Changing it now, has been a waste of real-life money to all those like myself who brought it for this unique look.

Ok. That is understandable, but what about those that did not preview the skin with a vampire character and were disappointed that the skin appeared to be broken and not appearing properly when their characters became vampires?

Thus an option function would be prefered to cater to both costumers? The point at hand is that many people brought that skin with the intention of making their vampire look like the middle picture, only for them now to change it and ruin it for many.
We should have it as it was sold to us, especially since we paid for it with real money.

It just goes to show that few of us really miss this. Including myself.
I honestly still feel a bit ashamed by the practice. Myself, as well as many others bought it solely because of the super cool effect it had on vampire characters, and yet.. then they chose to revert the skins combining together. Thus we purchased an item under false pretense.
I feel you on this. Previewed this on a vampire and it looked great. A few months later it was taken from me. They stole my precious.
