Of course they won't have the things that make Dunmer interesting, they aren't Dunmer. None of the races will have what makes another race interesting. Instead, the Altmer have their own things that make them interesting.

Actually different cultures do and have done this - to either refer to themselves or others in 3rd person, even if they are directly speaking to this person or about themselves. Japan is one such example, where this is considered to be more polite.
you are just full of fun facts aren't you? @Lysette
I like different cultures and to travel to a lot of countries and so I am interested as well into such things. humans are extremely diverse and it is so exciting to see how people are and live in other countries.
Edit: this is a series of interesting interviews and picture of people in different cultures, which was once featured by google - quite interesting to see how people live, think and what they experience and what they tell about their life. Well, link does not work, so I have to link the longer oneshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vdb4XGVTHkE

When we normally refer to humans, we have the western type in mind - but the majority of humans are not of this kind - they are quite different.

I MAY sometime make a Nord though, cause I'm Norse by heritage.
Yeah nord by heritage that makes sense since you live on earth and nords do not. Plz ppl, there is a difference of real life and eso.
There are a LOT of people who are very against the Beast Races here. Anthropomorphic Humanoid Animals have been given a really bad rap over the years, especially with the social attitude toward "Furry", which is unfortunate.imapogostick wrote: »Altmer, or any Elf for that matter. I said Norse, not Nord. Have you heard of Norway? The Nords were made to represent Scandinavians.
