Proper Grammar and Spelling

I wish to thank you all (or should that be all of you) as I didn't know (or perhaps maybe possibly just the word everyone) what an Oxford comma (does the rhetorical also require a question mark?) was (also apparently known as the serial comma or the Harvard comma) before I read all of this "stuff." And I have been not using them all of my adult life. (Is this really all one paragraph and should I have not begun a sentence with the word "And"?)

I used too many parenthesis no.... no... no....... (bonk) parenthesEs..........Ah............................

He formatted it like an article title. I wouldn't necessarily call it a major mistake, if it is even a mistake at all (stickies are capitalized this way, maybe he considers this thread an important announcement...). I don't know if there are any official rules.

My spelling and grammar are generally good, but I don't think it is right to lambast people who may: a) not speak/write English as their first language (this game is International); b) be dyslexic; or c) just simply don't know due to education and circumstances.

To demand correct spelling and grammar comes across as extremely intolerant of people who have difficulties with writing in English for whatever reason, or very snobbish, depending upon the circumstances.

My forum favourites are:

I would of done that
General use of 'yourself' and 'myself' instead of (the correct) 'you' and 'me'.

I understand that not everyone is native English, however, i am pretty sure that it is generally native English speakers who commit the above crimes.

My in-game favourite is '...speak with someone'

WITH?! speaking 'with' implies, as does 'sing with', that both parties are talking at the same time.

Not at same time, it implies they're having a dialogue. I, too, was taught at school to always speak to someone. But to speak with someone is not incorrect, either.
