Proper Grammar and Spelling

I have terrible grammar and would be the first to admit it, why does it matter tho? Are we getting a grade for our post?

If I have a hard time following a person's post I generally just skip it.

You still need all of the correct letters, and the first and last letters have to be placed correctly.

You don't have to write like a grammar teacher, just remember that as an international game, although English has a vast predominance, there are players who don't understand mistyped words, be them accidentally or purposely written, or even the excessive amount of abbreviations, local and/or cultural slangs and even terminologies imported from other MMOs.

If one doesn't speak English as his/her native language, it's understandable a grammar error. I've seen people posting the literal machine translation of their questions and that's perfectly fine. But there is that share of players that write wrongly on purpose everytime they can just because they feel great being an a**

My favorite is when people use the word "effect" when they mean "affect". Happens ALL the time. In fact, I'd say people get it wrong far more often than I've seen it written correctly.

That makes me sad, because when the majority of people screw up something, it starts to become acceptable to screw it up.

I remember back when it was considered wrong to pronounce the "t" in "often" but people did it so much that the dictionary now says that it's an acceptable pronunciation.

I made this post mainly for all of the people who would forget letters in words, making you have to guess wtf they were trying to say. The people that had no idea how to convert English conversation into sentences. The people that you could tell had no error checking whatsoever - i.e. the first thing they typed would be the last time they looked at it, etc. As long as its not a general struggle to try and interpret what a person is trying to say/mean, then it's not a problem if capital letters are not used here and there, or a sentence is began with 'And'. Imho.

You forgot the period at the end of your title and grammar and spelling are not proper nouns so they do not require capitalization. We call that a fail nephew.
