Coolest faction?

Based on pve only, what faction do you find most awesome and enjoyable? Is it because of terrain, quests, characters, mobs? Anything you can think excluding pvp aspects.

Even if you have only played one faction, two, or three. Full completions or not state your vote and short reason what you think is the best about the pve\story enivorment, also include other factions you did play so we know your experiancebin comparison.

I have made to reapers march in dominion, iv seen my fiance play daggerfall a fair amount of time.
Recently i started playing ebonheart and find it the most enjoyable. I love the ash rain and dry airid terrain of moutains and lava everywhere it makes travel interesting and thoughtful instead of just running threw.
Also the mobs seem quite cool compared to other factions alot more abnormal compared to dominion especially at least early on.

its really a matter of opinion, at least for those who have the 'any race any faction' function

i chose the Covenant mostly for political reasons

jorunn is setting on a powder keg, i sincerly doubt his ability to keep it from blowing up

ayrenn is naive, young, and seems ignorant of her peoples opinions of nearly everything, she herself is not a bad person, but i doubt her ability to keep from becoming a political puppet

but High King Emeric? he is a merchant, and from the story he leads from the front lines, joining his soldiers in battle on more than one occasion. Once the war is over, Tamriel will face economic collapse, so much money and trade is tied up on the war economy, that once the war is ended it will all fall through, we need a capable leader with a very strong buisness mind to pull tamriel through this economic collapse that WILL happen, not if, it will happen.

All three factions have their good and bad points as far as PVE questing goes.
Most of the time it just depends on what mood I'm in as to what character and faction I log in with. Overall I enjoy them all about equally.

Why would there be any other reason to play AD besides cats and a kind queen, you can't beat going to all the zones of AD and finding cat a galore!!

AD isn't "my" faction but I enjoyed the quests there a lot, and I found when running around on my AD that the people were very friendly and quick to offer a helping hand.

That is the best thought process to answer this question, real solid political thought makes me want to support emric haha. Dominion land was beautiful and mobs were more so expected typical wilderness creatures.

Ebonheart terrain and mob has kept me very inerested, just getting to a quest marker itself is its own reward sometimes dodging lava streams and such.

I guess my outlook is more so on consistent environment and involvement opposed to story and politics.

I've finished all of AD and all of EP on my main, and am currently about 2/3 through DC on an alt.

Hands down AD was the best questing experience, with a strong cohesive story running through the entire length of it, and memorable characters and events.

DC is 2nd place, even though I'm only 1/4 through alik'r desert so far. The stories are interesting, but unlike the bulk of AD, each zone feels like it's own separate story, not really connected much to the others. It also has some great characters who pop up again and again through the zones, feeling like you're running into old friends, from Stros M'kai all the way to Alik'r.

EP was the worst. No memorable characters or stories. I find myself asking 'am I supposed to know that nord/argonian from somewhere or is it a new one from this zone'. Compared to the beautiful jungle forests of AD and the flowing countryside appeal of DC, EP is also quite ugly for the bulk of it. Grey wasteland, followed by swamps. The last 2 zones were a bit better to look at, but not much better for story/quests. The only memorable part about the entire faction was the final boss.

As with all things, tastes vary.

My main character that I spend the majority of my time on is in the Pact, but if we're talking storyline here it has to be the Covenant. A lot of it comes down to me really liking a lot of npcs in the Covenant, more so than the other two factions, which engaged me a lot more with what was going on. I loved the pirate heist, the storyline of Rivenspire, and learning more about Redguards in the Alik'r Desert which I think is visually one of the nicest zones to mention a few things.

The Dominion was great for High Elf lore, beautiful Auridon, and Razum-dar; but the 3 zones of Valenwood felt very repetitive to me. The Pact had a few cool npcs and despite the nostalgia factor of re-visiting Morrowind and Skyrim I couldn't really get into the storylines.

I am mostly playing dominion which i like but i do agree with you; likeable npcs in dc (dominion and pact also have a few) and the storyline of rivenspire is awesome, the one truly epic story in the game. Furthermore my AD main lives in Alikr desert as a hermit near goats head wayshrine (her sanguine goat made her do that)
