I spent a year playing in an EP and after all that time and a little break I needed some fresh change to the game. I switched to AD, started a new main and I can tell that I am glad I did that even after over a year of playing. Comparing AD and EP - AD comes out better to me in many aspects such as playerbase, environment (I just hated Deshaan), questline, faction leader, Khajiits and yet again questline (The Wilder Queen in Malabal Tor was well done, Ayrenn in Orrery gave me a goosebumps).

Cliffs everywhere that make you run across half the map just to get up them, and roots and rocks strewn all over the place that my hero character seems to be completely befuddled by. "Oh help me someone! I can't get over this stump to kill those 3 spiders!"
I couldn't agree more. It's literally all frustrating jungle and mountain terrain. That's all AD has to offer. The queen tries way too hard to be likeable and the story is so predictable..."Oh, this person in power actually wants to kill the queen, WHAT A PLOT TWIST... for the third time." Khajiit main quest was the only good thing to me.
The people there don't appreciate your work (belittling remarks about quest accomplishments and typical thalmor attitude) They're also the most unstable and racist faction of them all. And of course I can't leave out that they're a terrible zerg faction.
I'd vote for DC + EP. Both beautiful with more varied terrain and interesting lore. (Believe it or not but the Dominion is still superior to both alliances, whatever is the case.)

Farorin✭✭✭✭✭DominionEP is crap, the only good things there was a bit of the Argonian stuff, DC was good, but I hate Hammerfell and dislike Redguard lore a lot.
AD though, I love Bosmer a lot more than I probably should, Altmer are interesting with their Arcane knowledge and connection with magic, and Khajiiti are adorable and hilarious. On top of that, I love Valenwood and the Summerset Isle's were pretty.1 -

They're all pretty good, and EP might be getting my favor because of the TES 3: Morrowind Effect and the TES 5: Skyrim Buff. Shadowfen is pretty, but playing in it bites because every flea-bitten gator in the swamp has GOT to attack you every ten steps. And the same goes for the Senie fire beetles. ✭✭✭✭✭DominionAs an argonian in AD, I feel the hate towards my race and the elves are as well very intolerant towards their allies the khajiit. So screw those native elves, I do not like them - even I have an altmer in DC and a bosmer in EP. They emigrated because they did not like this intolerant behavior.
If you play all the quests in Dominion territory and read the lore books, you get to learn quite a bit more about the races.
It is mostly only the aristocratic altmers who consider the other races to be inferior. The bosmer, though have strives with the khajiit, but it is not much of a big deal for them. The khajiit are a weird combination of civility and bestiality. They are generally more interested in money and grandiose. They are also shown to be the backbone of the Dominion in the main quest line. The only race, which they seemed to hate with a passion are argonians. That hatred mostly stems from the fact that khajiits consider themselves masters of stealth and most of their hatred are pointed towards the shadowscales. (In one of the quests, there is a khajiit mercenary threatening to show an argonian commander whose claws were sharper and whose bite was harder)
Though apart from that, the Dominion seems to hate the other alliances the most.

I wouldn't want anyone else leading me into a big battle well except for maybe that guy from 300 . But High king Emeric is the bees knees , a mans man and card at the dinner table . He doesn't allow squabbling and racism in his kingdom , no Sir . DC is the greatest .2 -
