Would be brilliant if this was some elaborate ploy by ZOS to both lower the ridiculous prices on gold mats and crafting materials while also upping the sale of banker assistants.

I know you can't go into details @ZOS_GinaBruno but will ZOS actually be taking action against people for this?

As it's far too often these things go unpunished from you and I and many of the other players who don't abuse exploits are tired of being good players when there are no penalties at all for exploit abuse.

This is the third or fourth exploit of this kind I have known, and known players who have abused them all of whom then go on to reap the full rewards and brag. Then just go right back to doing it again when the next one comes around.

Please can ZOS start making actual statements and taking actions on issues like this. I would love to see ZOS start something like this (Link to EVE Online Exploits Page) and hand out bans/item removal where it's due.

I made a whole extra thread about this a month ago when other issues were present. Quite frankly myself and others I have known in the community are tired of playing a "cheat to win" game which ZOS will not enforce.

Also, whilst it's being fixed and until the final fix is live, disable the banker companion.

Otherwise this is just going to be abused until you patch it, and no one is going to care what else you say.

I don't like being rude to ZOS as I do love this game, but your ability to mitigate and handle exploiting is shameful, as a company you really need to take a stand on this and work harder to enforce you own ToS/EULA. Someone can't have a "rude name" but they sure as hell can take advantage of bugs for massive gains.

@ZOS_GinaBruno The continued use of players utilising these types exploits in ESO isn't because the exploits exist or they think they won't get caught, it's because they know that if they do utilise them that nothing will happen.

Just to be clear here ZOS. This is an actual conversation I just had with another player. This is the mentality your lack of action has caused within this game.

I've snipped the names/exploits but otherwise these logs as was.

Also as a reminder to others posting. Please do not talk openly about current exploits here. I was this thread to be about how ZOS deal with them, not what they currently are.

honestly if i was home id be exploiting this one. not that i dont fear rebuttal or consequence or any of the above. id rather get my end game gear finished without having to spend days endlessly doing writs just so that at the end of the week i can improve one item on one character. And at 7k a pop buying mats isnt much of an option. The 400-500k gold you make from questing will only get you 3.5 items to legendary. and not everyone can get in a good trading guild

Id rather spend my time actually playing the game, doing content i enjoy. and if i get banned for that. I guess ESO isnt the game for me. ZOS hold no power over use because the risk far out weighs the reward, and they sure dont have the man power to police it having cut customer services to a skelton crew that look after the auto response system.
