I need more templar skills with my stamplar, i use only repetance the cleanse and bitting jabs...

I'm a huge fan of the new Restoring Focus. +8% healing, -8% dmg taken +armor, +major mending. I just wish it wasn't stuck in 1 spot -_-.

Is too little as radius for pvp i need to move more. And even the cleanse gives you major mending.
Anyway even the passives need to be more stamina friendly
So exclusive wep damage increase isn't stamina friendly?)

Sorry and? Overhall templars have the worst skill-points/skills ratio of all the classes even if we have nice active skills.
Stamplars in right hands are OP with horrific burst DPS and infinite survivability: no other class have cheap cleanse which increases healing taken, don't have jabs which hit like a truck over area, and so on. Templars are second class who does have so much useful class abilities useful for stamina builds.

I'm missing something, Last time i've cecked it was DK>NIGHTBLADE>SORCERER>TEMPLAR on the "leaderboard" of how many useful skill points you can spend in the class skill lines for a stamina user

It's a static number, something worthless like 80-100 stamina and magicka. It was worthless before, maybe amazing now. We'll see.

    Here you go...

    Templar
    • Aedric Spear
      • Burning Light: This passive ability now deals Physical Damage or Magic Damage, based on whether your Weapon Damage or Spell Damage is higher respectively.
    • Dawn’s Wrath
      • Power of the Light (Backlash morph): This morph now deals Physical Damage instead of Magic Damage.
    • Restoring Light
      • Cleansing Ritual: This ability now always removes 2 harmful effects from the casting Templar as a baseline effect, increased from 1 harmful effect.
      • Extended Ritual (Cleansing Ritual morph): Increased this morph’s duration to 18/20/22/24 seconds at Ranks I/II/III/IV respectively, from 16/18/20/22 seconds.
      • Focused Healing:
        • Renamed this passive ability to Sacred Ground.
        • This passive ability has gained a new effect. In addition to providing the Minor Mending buff, it now also reduces the Movement Speed of enemies by 15/30% whenever they stand in your Cleansing Ritual, Rune Focus, or Rite of Passage area of effects.
      • Purifying Ritual (Cleansing Ritual morph): Renamed this morph to Ritual of Retribution, In addition, we redesigned this morph so it now damages enemies in its area of effect every 2 seconds for the same amount that it heals allies.
      • Rushed Ceremony: This ability and its morphs can no longer heal allies through walls and other line of sight blockers.

Abilities that heal based on their damage done (Strife, Puncturing Sweeps, etc.) will no longer “double dip” in the Critical Strike modifier.
The damage from these abilities can still Critically Strike, but the healing will no longer be able to roll for an additional Critical Strike chance.

    Puncturing Sweep just got rekt.

Oh, and the Powered trait on weapons now increases your healing done, so Templar healers be aware of this.

In total while dks/nbs/sorcs were "balanced", Templars got some very tasty buffs.

If you're healspec...if you're stabby then it's an overall nerf because of the change to Aedric Spear and the fact that nobody who is stabby runs any of the other abilities that they buffed to begin with. Stabby version got nerfed even more simply due to the Dawnbreaker and Prox. Det changes.

It was a funny joke thread about how demoralized Templars are on patch day started many hours before the patch notes came out, then it became a celebration of some cool changes thread after the patch notes came out. But yeah, goodbye.
