    We made it remarkably far in this thread before the twilight crap started. Hopefully we can now cut that crap.

    Dracula was the only vampire in existence. Odd how Helsing knew just how to kill him. Even odder how there were more in the castle keeping Harker busy. Odder still how Drac seemed intent on turning Harker's wife.

    Even in Oblivion you received Opts sun damage at stage 1 and only 1pt/s sun damage at stage 2. It was only in stages 3 and 4 that the sun became dangerous. I'm all for this in ESO provided they normalize the day night cycle and increase the stage timers to something a little less ridiculous.

    And yes, one new Passive:
    Charm-Much like the Feed ability, this option should pop when your vampire is in proximity to an NPC they could in fact feed on. It would act as an alternate Feed ability that would only work on non-hostile NPCs and would NOT cause the NPC to aggro after it breaks. This is in line with the previous TES games where your vampires could in fact feed undetected in some situations.

    The Stage Timers:

    PLEASE switch Stage 1 and Stage 3, making Stage 1 the longest lasting timer of 90 minutes. This will allow vampires to not look completely awful for a far more reasonable length of time, which may only matter to roleplayers but will not affect the experience of all those players who prefer to keep their vampires in Stage 4 for the advantages that Stage confers. Overall the time to reach Stage 4 is unaffected.

    Cosmetics:
    Please give vampires their fangs. And some emotes to go along with them, even if these emotes are Crown Store items.
    Please redo the Feed animation. Instead of the giant gout of garden hose style blood, please have vampires grapple their victims from behind and bite their necks. While I realize this will be a far more complex animation I think it can be done and would add greatly to immersion. Should you also give us the Charm Passive mentioned above the animation for it should perhaps be from the front, with the vampire more subtly embracing their victim as they drink from their neck.

    Crown Store Items

    Mortal Skin- This Skin would return your vampire to the appearance they had BEFORE becoming vampires and would override the appearance conferred by the Stages.
    Various NPC vampires look "normal" when you encounter them initially, most notably Count Verandis Ravenwatch and Heloise. During the vampire quest itself Lamae Bal has dialogue that clearly indicates that her "children" SHOULD be able to "blend in" to mortal society.

    Therefore there's no real reason player vampires must always look as if they are suffering from some horrible disease.

    Glenmoril Wyrd Skin- This skin would leave your vampire with Stage 1 skin but would NOT affect eye color, makeup or tattoos. For those who prefer their vamps to look subtly vampiric. Name taken from the Strain of High Rock vampires that are also noted for their ability to blend in to mortal society along with the Order vampires of Cyrodiil. Skin could easily be called Cyrodiilic Skin instead. Either way, I believe it would prove popular with players.

    Mist Costume: Applying this costume would have your vampire become a mist just like in the Mist ability but visually only, conferring no mechanics advantages. This mist would be minus the green or red streaking of the morphs for the ability.

    Bats Trinket: Activating this trinket would summon a small cloud of bats that would hover around the vampire, similar in appearance to the bats in the vampire Ultimate but much smaller in scale and MUCH quieter.

    Thank you for your consideration on this issue that continues to plague players and leads to a high amount of dissatisfaction among those of us who play vampires.

    Finish the skill line like the others? Half the skills on those other skill lines are junk. Werewolf needs a full set of good abilities because it replaces all your skills, it is a bad comparison. Vamp was always intended to augment your build, not be the build.
    To each skill
    Gap closer: Sure? Changes are current gap closers would still be used more or the skill would end up broken.
    Pet: Why? Current pets almost never get used after hitting 50. Unless they reqork pets, you are asking for something nobody would use.
    Fear: There is an issue with fear mechanics, I would like to see no more of them until it is reworked. As you do not seem like the pvp type, you dont understand the issue that this presents.

    Only time in previous games you could feed undetected, without mods, was on sleeping targets, and, if im not mistake, arent you one of the people that wanted stage 4 vamp to be a crime? But you want feeding off an innocent to be fine?

    Feed change is mechanically bad, I know its wanted and its missed from other TES games for me, but it just cant be mechanically done (especially if its for a cosmetic change) it just isnt worth the chance to break a ton.

    I understand the desires for a mortal skin, and would like it for my own RP, and it would be simple to do. Have at it if you like, but many of the other crown store requests are just not good imo.

    Iactually support changes to the stages, but for what you want the stage timers are just a poor option. Ive recomended to you before at least once a simple fed and unfed system. You feed, you look stage 1 and have stage 1 bonuses until you remove the buff. You remove the buff and become unfed, stage 4. Swapping the times is a bad fix aiming for a pathetic attempt to retain an immersion that isnt there.

    What 'plagues players' is not your personal preferences. Lag, broken skills, and poor balance plague players. Your plagues are issues for RPers in almost full entirety.

    Look it up. Lamae Beolfag "offspring" are immune to sunlight damage.

    The different strains have different weaknesses and abilities. For example, vampires in Skyrim only get weaker in the sunlight but Cyrodiil IC vampires flat-out burn in the sunlight.

    I suggest you look up vampiric seduction. It most certainly was possible to feed on awake victims without agro without any mods. If you were facing them or someone else observed you feeding you got a bounty. That is all that is being asked for, we need to be able to feed without necessarily having to get a bounty and/or kill the victim. If someone sees it happening we should still get a bounty.

    BTW. You were still committing a crime when you fed on sleeping victims and being detected while doing it was the same bounty as murder. Just like feeding on awake victims using vampiric seduction.

    Vampires probably only get two active abilities because they have passives that are always active.

    I agree with this, although the fire damage punishment is exagerated, specially with the changes to CP's. The penalty should be reviewed, also a revision of the mist form skill.

    You do realize their weakness to fire has nothing to do with their weakness to sunlight, they are weak to fire because they are dry dead corpses, Did you know all corporal Undead are weak to fire, even Lichs.

    Exactly. Vampires need a chance to feed without aggro but certainly with the typical pitfalls of pickpocketing and murder/bounties. Part of me wildly hopes that something like this will be in the works for DB since they mentioned vamps. But I fear it'll really just be more nerfs and nothing that I actually want.

    I guess the changes are the passives, mist form fix and drain essence changes or something that is very useless in PvP but good in PvE.

    Hmmm... Still,after 2 years of begging for better vampires and by no means being alone in that and never having a single request acted upon, I am loathe to get my hopes up at all. ZOS has historically been all too quick to take the stake to them after all. LOL

    I think is will be fair to remove all vampire/WW active skills altogether. Such things should be purely cosmetic or have little impact on gaming process, like TG skill line.

    On the other hand, provided we don't use any Vampire abilities Stages will last 6hrs.

    I think the biggest howl is going to be the fact they are making Dark Stalker passive only active at Stage 4! How many people have gone vampire JUST FOR the Dark Stalker passive, and now they have to be extremely vulnerable (and ugly) just to get the passive. :(

    I do find the stage timer being advanced 30 min by using a vamp ability pretty interesting. It will be nice to drink up and not fear the flames in a dungeon. I'm not sure how I feel about advancing a stage for every 12 (11 really) uses of Vampire abilities, it does give us more control, but nowhere in those notes did they mention making any of those abilities worth the penalty.

    The game doesn't care what you are. You can be a fully changed werewolf and the NPC doesn't notice any difference. You could be a Vampire and the NPC's just relate to you as they would another NPC or player. The game doesn't really adjust to vampirism or being a Werewolf.

    Lore went out the window when the races could join any faction they wanted and level through them all.
