Bosmer and Khajiit Nightblades in The Dark Brotherhood DLC

Assuming The Dark Brotherhood content will enhance stealth-based combat and further reward attacking from the shadows, won't Bosmer and Khajiit rule the new DLC?

Nightblade stealth passives + Bosmer/Khajiit racial passives + Dark Brotherhood passive skill line = Ultimate assassin?

I'm a bit worried about other races/classes/factions if the new skill line enhances "assassin" skills. Thoughts?

I swear nobody has played an elder scrolls game before. In every dark brotherhood there's at least one mage and warrior who dont use stealth at all to fill their contracts. The dark brotherhood is about murder, more than just assassination.

Don't you thing that Vampires are Kings of stealth.
Almost all races can have access to stealth by being a vampire.( yes, yes bosmer and khajiit will be more stealthier than other races by being a vampire)

This isn't really a traditional Elder Scrolls game, though... it has multiplayer. I really wouldn't care about a potentially powerful combination of racial/class/passive skills if everyone just played solo in their own world.

And while I agree that there are more ways than "just assassination" for a Dark Brotherhood member to commit murder, Dark Brotherhood members are assassins, which means we have to operate under the assumption that assassin-like passives are in the mix.

Look at the brief Dark Brotherhood video that ZOS just released. It ends with a character sneaking up behind someone and slicing their throat with daggers. Such a stealth move, if it were to appear in some shape or form in pvp, would be executed much easier/better with a Bosmer or Khajiit Nightblade.

I'm with you on Vampires being beneficial for stealth. Numbers-wise, however, the only benefits that a vamp offers are movement speed while stealthed and entering stealth quicker at night (which seems to appear much less than day).

There aren't any damage boosting stealth passives for Vampire. We could count the clouding swarm ultimate, though. But it is only available for every race/class when we fill up our ultimate bar.

True!!!
But I forgot to mention that even NB of any race don't face any problems with stealth.( you know..... just cloak, problem solved ;-) )

Haha yes, great point. Hiding won't be an issue for any Nightblades.

I just hope that the damage bonus that Bosmer and Khajiit get from their "stealthy" passive won't stack with another stealth-based damage passive from Dark Brotherhood line. Imagine if the 9% additional damage from stealth that's already on Bosmer and Khajiits got boosted either further from a DB passive. Powerful stuff. Only speculating about such a passive at this point, of course.

Yea... It would be awesome!
But sadly the DB passives are for PvE only. :-(

I imagine the DB skill line will be as lackluster as the TG skill line. I doubt they will add any passives that boost your DPS or make sneaking any easier (there are armor sets for that kind of thing)

Rather I can see passives that make it possible to reverse pickpocket a poison onto your target, easy time finding poisons and other helpful assassination tools in the overworld, ability to see "assassination" opportunities (like dropping a statue on top of your target and claim it was a freak accident) etc.

It'll be all fluff again and it's probably in your best interest to steel yourself for the disappointment of the skill line.

i actually hope it boosts khajits, there crit passive isnt what it looks like on paper, bosmer is another story i dont play one.

The crit passive may finally get totally fixed(after TG, they solved it but you get 6% crit actually instead of the full 8%)
