We have to PAY cash for motif previews?? This should have been incorporated into the base game! Character slots I can understand, but previews?!? I see this as a cheap shot and Zenimax truly disappoints me if they in fact charge extra for this.

Check the dev tracker. It means you can preview motifs in the crown store before you buy them.

Then again, I don't see much of an issue for charging for a feature like that if it ever comes to pass :)

I'm excited about some news, the scaling of Sanctum is big, but I was hoping for new 4 man dungeons.

The news are good, there's a lot of stuff going on, just not what I hoped for.

Dark Brotherhood may be enough to reignite the fading flame within me for ESO. Not the guild itself, mind you, but the update looks to be ambitious. So ambitious that I am worried some things will be pushed out half finished, but at the same time many of these things have been in development for years and unlikely to be half finished at release. The Gold Coast is also an area I frequented often in TESIV: Oblivion, taking Fighters Guild contracts and generally exploring the forests and coastline.

Thieves Guild has been a good update, one I would immensely enjoy were I still motivated enough to play everyday. I still support the game that is ESO and wish it the best. But after 2 years of any game, it becomes difficult to justify playing it further.

    Curious to see everyone's thoughts.

To me this is ZOS not listening to players again and just doing whatever comes to mind.

Scaling sanctum to V16 is cool, but it needed to happen two patches ago, and it's literally just a modification to the game they already have (in typical ZOS style)

Is there any NEW and CHALLENGING content that required creativity this patch (New 4 mans, trials, etc) nope. Just the same old stuff but scaled.

I will be unsubbing and.hoping for a good patch next year.

People *** about the trials not being scaled to VR16. ZOS starts scaling them to VR16. People arent happy and complain about how it should of been done months ago.

Congrats Forumites, this is generally why you feel ignored. Because no matter what they do. Its always an opportunity to complain here at ESO Official Forums.

It's not that. It's that they should scale all of them at once, not stretch it one trial per DLC because that's obviously what they are going do... And people are going to be super excited about it... When there is absolutely no reason why they don't scale them all this DLC.

It is actually better than I expected from ZOS at this point(which unfortunately doesn't say anything about ZOS except how little I already expect from them lol), at least far as basegame patch goes.
IC district quests, poisons, at least one Trial scaling, vote-to-kick system for groupfinder, traits rebalancing, character slots, item locks, FINALLY vet ranks removal? That's a lot of great(if implemented right of course) things the community has been asking for for a long time. I'm genuinely surprised they actually followed through on some of them. It's great. Really.

Now onto the actual DLC...tl;dr is "moar solo questing". No thanks. I am actually curious how many will buy this. I mean I am not saying no one will, I'm sure many are going to but TG at least had a challenging new Trial with it, DB has nothing for those who've had enough solo questing. Zeni, are you sure sure the solo questers' playerbase is big and loyal enough to solely focus ONLY on it?

No new dungeons. Again. And last but not least, nerfing the existing IC dungeons and CoA...what? When I saw "rebalance" at first I fully expected to see a buff because of how laughably easy those have become(yes, not for everyone; but there should be some challenge to overcome in the end and something to strive for, right?)...why the nerf?o.O To me this is honestly really sad. Small scale group content is biggest fun for me in this game.

    1) scaling quarter of craglorn trials (AA,HRC and Dragonstar Arena loot will still be useless because its not scaled like SO )
    2) no new trial/dungeons and not making a veteran mode of the current normal mode only dungeons
    3) Cyrodiil still doesnt receive proper anti lag measures ( it'll have a minor adjusts that does nothing for next 5 years)

to OP. you should make this poll again 2 weeks after the release of DB DLC. you'll see how underwhelming it is.
you should always take the hype in consideration ^^
hints: bugs and crashes will be least of your issues.

Are you a programmer? Do you develop large AAA MMOs? So how do you know what they should do?

If they scaled all of them and released them broken and such youd be complaining about that. For all we know theyre taking their time so to do them right. And considering how much people cry on these forums about bugs and lag. Youd think generally people would be okay with this if the content was a little more stable on release. But no, here you are upset because they arent rushing it out the door.
