    oh, forgot to mention. I love playing thieves, rogues and assassins, but I'm curious they just released thieves guild and now an assassin guild, I though dark brotherhood had more to do with dark sorcery than with assassins. I guess those who prefer to play "good" characters would not be too pleased...

    I got none of the dlc so far so I can't say that I care much for another.
    As for the base game stuff, I guess it will help my friend trying to catch up with our vet level characters not feel overwhelm as much (they were discourage because we were vet 5 already and they are not level 50 yet) So if we are all level 50, it might motivate him.
    We don't do dungeons really because we are 3 and not organized and hardcore enough to do like pros, so if Normal dungeons is at our reach, good.

    I want to know two things:

    1 - Does "hats" mean we get a hat slot? Or will we equip hats on the costume slot like the existing ones?

    2 - Is the "throat-cutting" animation a new interaction with innocent targets added by a DB passive? Like, "press x to cut throat" while sneaking behind a target?

    I would love to have a hat slot so I could use a costume with a different hat.

    And it would be great if we could carry on assassinations with a passive that let us cut throats. After all, you get a bounty if your target doesn't die on the first hit.
    Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:

    Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
    Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
    Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
    Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
    Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
    Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
    Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
    Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
    Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
    Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

    Thoroughly excited. There are way more features going in, just from the current list, than I thought were going to get there at all.
    • Removing Veteran Ranks has been something they've talked about I think since Beta (makes sense from a development standpoint, they were probably already working on/finishing the Champion System by then).
    • Crafting Bags can't come fast enough, I incredibly excited about this in particular. My main does All The Things, so he needs as many free inventory spaces as possible. I can also take items out of one of my guild banks so that the other users can put things they actually like in there instead of 4 stacks of Pumpkin.
    • Imperial City District Capturing was, if I recall correctly, supposed to come in with Imperial City launch, but didn't make the cut. Considering how stable the Districts are compared to overland Cyro, this is great news and will hopefully make it a better PvP experience in there.
    • Sanctum Ophidia scaling?? Multiple end-game trials to choose from?? Yes PLEASE! Maw of Lorkhaj is amazing, but I really don't think you can have just a single end-game trial come out every 6 months/year. I hope they keep moving forward with the Trials scaling, because it's incredibly innovative and will increase the variety of end-game content that players can choose from.
    • New zones are always a good time.
    • The chance that Stamina is going to get the attention it really needs. Obvious this isn't something that we as players should rely on, but acknowledging the issues and working on balancing is always nice to see.
    • Item Locking to avoid deconstruct. FINALLY I can keep things in my bank without needing to take a muscle relaxant every time I visit a crafting table.

    I'm just super psyched about this whole thing, it looks like another beautiful DLC patch.

    You're probably right. It's just kind of sad to me to see how little they have to put into an update to get people excited. New cute/cosmetic stuff and a couple scaled pieces a content and everyone goes gaga until they're bored in two weeks.

    There are a bunch of things on the list that people have been begging for like the do not deconstruct button. Sounds to me like they are listening to the fan base.

    Ya but they haven't added any NEW content. They have only either changed/updated previous content from past dlcs. Where is the new pvp content? Districts in IC is not new content, IC was already there. I would have been fine with the update if they added in barber shop.

    From what I can tell the only NEW content is the new zone. Yay more quests. I don't care. I am happy about the VR removal, TY zeni. But sadly that is the only thing that interests me.

    The irony is there has yet to be what one would consider a good guild for players to join. Sure, the Fighters Guild has done some heroic things, but they're mercenaries who kill people for hire (not much different than DB really, except they do it in the open). Mages guild is busy calling up monsters from outer darkness, and consorting with said monsters, even as they pretend to be helping Tamriel. Thieves guild robs people of their portable chamberpots. DB is a creepier sneakier version of the FG. I hope we can play a Dawnguard or Iron Wheel some day. I'd also love to go to Artaeum as a Psijic or at least join House Telvanni.

    Im not really looking forward to DB. It really just feels like another PvE quest DLC like Thieves Guild. The removal of vet ranks is really all im exited about. Im also disappointed race changes and the lack of care about PvP.

    Don't get me wrong, I think they stated good things. But both TG and DB dlc cater to a rogue style play. Would like to see something esle, like the Temple or Knights of the Nine etc. This will get me by for a couple of months though :)

    Can't really say. Some is great (crafting bags, vet removal, SO scaling), some is too vague to mean anything (Cyro improvements; stam & vamp changes), and some I have no interest in (more sneaky NB play).

    One thing does concern me, and that's poisons. I like the idea in general, but it's another buff to ganky NB play and that is one area that definitely does not need a buff. If vamp is also buffed in power, Cyro will just be filled to the brim with Magblade vamps trying to gank each other.

    No race change feature? Seriously, after all the racial and other major changes they've made since launch? I don't see what they're waiting for with this. They seem to think the racials are balanced now that Argonians get a 12% return of stats every 45 seconds (glyphs of potion speed still don't work at all, BTW) so offer the race change already. ZOS made the adjustments they think are fair. Many, including me, don't agree and are tired of being slave to their "curious" design and balancing choices. So it's time to allow us the ability to balance ourselves with our play style and class. The game has changed so much and many of us don't have the time to just redo everything. Also, there is nothing new to experience by replaying the game from the start. Every quest is exactly the same.

    You could change your race on a whim in Skyrim on PC. So what's the hold up? What are we waiting for? Is there some big thing that is going to happen to the racials that are going to make players more satisfied with what they have now? I doubt it. ZOS has finally made it clear how they envision each race to be played optimally, which, in some cases, is very different from launch. If the game was how it is now back when I created my main I would have made completely different choices in terms of race and even faction. It's annoying that they changed everything and left us no recourse other than to start over. What a huge waste of time and so tedious.

    I'm sick to death of the "no ETA' response. ZOS has an idea. Give us a ballpark. You seem to have plans laid out for when DLCs are released. How come you can't do the same with these long sought-after features? Quit stringing us along. When are the features coming?

    My very first thought when watching the teaser video: "The music in that teaser is really really well done."

    Next: "Ah, now I get why there was so little killing in in the Thieves Guild missions. They saved assassination for DB, of course :)"

    Then I was glad to see ZOS listened to player feedback on the group finder, will scale up an old trial, add a District capture system for the Imperial City, add an Item Saver feature to the basic UI, and add optional character nameplates to the game.

    Then I was wondering about how veteran ranks will be removed and how Poison-Making will be implemented.

    If all the new zones in DB combined are about as large as Hew's Bane I will probably buy the DLC :)
