I don't think shaming or insulting other players is the best way to go, but if anyone else wants to do it..... Although I don't think it would actually make a difference except making zone a shittier, saltier place.

Agreed 100%. TF is tough to home due to crazy lag spikes that are way higher in general vs Haderus which is tough to get my guys to move. Both us and Fantasia have moved to TF on different nights to get action when Haderus was dead. This weekend, we moved to TF on friday and had some nice fights with VE and Pact Militia. Hopefully, more DC and EP move haderus because the lag is generally lower, even when both camps have same numbers.
This... The only reason we are still homing Haderus is because the lag is much less intense than on TF. Had might spike to TF-type-lag at some points, but even then, it's a lot less often or consistent. It sucks to log on in to Cyrodiil and have no objectives to go after or have no one to fight because the map is completely yellow. If the situation was the same (AD ridiculously outnumbering DC and EP on Had) and the lag wasn't unbearable in Trueflame, we'd switch over in a heartbeat. PVP is nothing without good fights.
Unfortunately, we know the lag is an issue that probably won't get resolved any time soon...... I'd be hopeful about PVP if I thought ZOS would see this thread (despite the bickering) and give a crap, but... lol...
This issue isn't the fault of any players, be it AD, DC or EP, pugs or not pugs, it's just a symptom of a broken game and a company that is unwilling to work as hard as they should to fix the core issue of PVP, the lag.
But guilds and players still have CHOICES. You don't have to sit on Haderus and send 50 ad to kill 10 DC who are trying to get Rayles or Warden back.

I do not know if I would be in favor of this, but perhaps making AP account wide would encourage people to play alts in underdog factions. Right now there is no incentive to play an alt other than trying to make the map less dominated. I'll add that most pugs do not care about having what people call "good pvp." They want to win, and they want AP. Also, many people do not care for raising/playing alts at all.
There needs to be an instant-gratification reward to convince all of the pugs to switch sides temporarily. I admit that 7-30 day campaigns should probably not feature any instant gratification rewards, but that is the only way I can think to sway the masses. It has to be substantial, as well, since we will be attempting to convince people to not only make/play an alt, but commit to actually making the campaign more balanced.
I personally am an alliance loyalists. Some might find that stupid but I don't. I would rather quit the game than make a DC or EP toon.
Ive played cross faction in every game I have ever played, different strokes I suppose. The opportunity for uphill fighting exists there. The problem is joining a faction at launch (in my case AD), that was so grossly overpopulated there were virtually no fights to be had on six campaigns, only a few (wabba, dawnbreaker, and a couple others) were even contested at all.
The natural progression to switch sides was bred out of the lack of not shooting fish in a barrel with five times the numbers. Until youve taken six-twelve people to a buff server and farmed that entire faction for hundreds of thousands of AP in a session, and realized just how weak most zergers really are, you really havent experienced the game IMO.
Lol, you have no idea who you are talking to. I just started in the forums but have been here since pre launch. Do you think typing more words makes your "tall tales" look anymore believeable? Not just in the guild, co founded it, named it even. Then realized what BDG had become, quit promptly, and went back to my roots, where zergs arent required. The full journey is what is important. From your comments I can tell your journey has seen you pass from one zergherd to another. Myself personally, i've been a member of Rage for a while but although I haven't had the 2 year experience of leading a guild and pvp leading, we've come a long way from our roots back in August 2015 when we started out picking up pugs. So basically, we've started from the ground up here, that's why you don't recognize anyone. Most of our core are players who started off as pugs with no experience and have grown into very solid pvpers.
We've progressively trained, gained experience, and grown into our own on Haderus. It's taken a lot of time but I'm happy with the progress and i hope the GvG will prove that.

Darkest Requiem are the remnants of three or four guilds (Guild of Shadows, Nexus, Cuddle Kingdom, and Hijinx) when they went to BDO or otherwise stopped playing + a bunch of people we picked up from zone and have been training since February. A lot of people think we are still one of those guilds (Guild of Shadows) but we are not. Some of those other guild members now run in Haxus, Invictus, Pact Militia, or other TF guilds, but DR has always been a Haddy guild.
EP had a major shakeup late last year when a bunch of guilds/people quit and most of the major organized guilds fell apart and reformed under new banners (such as Nexus and Havoc becoming Haxus (just a well known example after Anon quit). Same thing AD is going through now.

Hate to tell you this... but even the baddies have learned the way of the D tick.
You all realize that Haderus will lag just like Trueflame does when the pops balance, right? Using the "I play on Haderus because Trueflame lags too much" line is just an excuse.

Balls Deep Gaming, the core group that would later form TKO after America quit the game. Unfortunately most of them quit not long after TKO was formed, I was one of the last to finally go. Healsforfeelz, Morinth, Rarein, Dshotz, Glarin, and assorted other names you may or may not recognize were all part of that era. BKs was actually not even a big name in BDG, Frogblast wasnt even a member, he came later on Chillrend IIRC.

But by all means, PLEASE be the next guy to Xv1 me with 10+ people and then teabag me after to show me how awesome you are at ragetargeting with massive amounts of help. I relish it.

But please do try to come at me by yourself and learn like a whole list of other trashtalkers how ungodly difficult I am to kill solo. Think I am joking? Last e-peener that tried spent over 20 minutes, rolling around on the floor dodging everything back until I was just bored of it and walked away (with him spambushing me the whole way there). Yes walked, into Fort Ash and ported. Im built to jump headfirst into zergs of people, as crown, and not die easily while doing so. All while being a damage sorc. So, have fun with that one.
So, this one must now ask.
How many more daggets has this brought over to the server, and how many pacters has this dragged up out of the sewers so that the PVP is a bit less one-sided?
And Telel is truly not asking this to mock any pointless arguing that some less humble sorts might be wasting much time one. Because that would be silly yes?
