Roll call: So who's still having fun?

So we're two years into the PC/MAC ESO journey, and 3/4 of a year into ESO on console...

Given how crazy these forums get, I gotta ask, are you still having fun playing ESO?

Personally, I still can't get enough! Yes I know there have been some head scratching turns in the direction ESO has traveled, and there are still many things that need to be addressed, but this game has been one hell of a ride. Sure there are things that need to be fixed, PvP lag being the big one, but why are there still people playing after 2 years if things are ALL bad? I'm guessing it's because "warts and all" ESO is still a darned fun universe to run around in.

A few things I enjoy about ESO:

I love the fact that the game world is so very beautiful!
I look forward to each Natch Potes day...wondering what @ZOS_GinaBruno will come up with next to keep us in suspense

I enjoy sitting down for break time at work with a big bowl of popcorn...to see what the days "forum drama" has in store.
I love the fact that even though this might be my 15th alt...the adventure will still play out different for that character.
I actually enjoy the fact that I get my a$$ handed to me quite often when I get too big headed.
I do miss /lurk though...I hope that can return.
I loved the fact that ZOS gave us cake to celebrate our 2 years together...TY!
Most of all I enjoy all of the wonderful friends I've made along the way

And thanks for putting up with this Knucklehead

I'm here because I love the game. Any issues I will let the Devs know about (and in a big way too), but overall the game is a winner. My guild is also awesome and I have formed connections with some great people.

Bring on Dark Brotherhood and Player Housing!

ZOS - these two future things are all we can talk about in game, people are getting excited so do it right!!

I wouldn't be here if I didn't thoroughly enjoy playing this game.

It has a few issues and bugs, but no worse than any other MMO.

I'm on the ps4 version. For me this was and still is the most approachable mmo I've ever tried and it's a dream come true to play my favorite series online! I took a huge break and came back when Theives guild came out. Now I'm back to playing ESO exclusively until maybe No Mans Sky comes out and I take another break.

I really like the game, but lack of quality in some areas (lag etc, some visual bugs) and grindyness drive me nuts. And this is why I write all those QQ posts. :P If I didnt like the game, I would've just quitted, but I actually want it to be better.

I'm having a blast still. The game has its problems and can get slow but the people I surround myself with it make the experience a million times better. I love playing with Bee and my Fairweather Friends. Been here since the beginning and have been lucky to have a supporting cast of friends to support me.

I love the game still and my friends.

I still love this game started in beta on the weekends then did the early access. I transfer to xb1 and had a great time meeting new ppl and other ppl I use to play with on PC. I log in everyday for 2 hours and about 4-6 hours on the weekends pvp is a blast I have not a single issue with the game. Not being sarcastic either!

I still have tons of content to progress through, because I take my time, and go slowly, so I'm still really enjoying myself. After two years my highest character just reached v10 on the last cake day.
I despise grinding, so I don't do anything that requires it. There are some decisions that have been made that I think are generally awful, and have a negative impact on the game, but overall, I do love it.

It's my first MMO to be honest and the only reason I got into it was because it was an Elder Scrolls.
Now I know some people used to say that it's an ES game only in appearance, but I am thoroughly invested in each one of my characters and I love this game along with the lore.

The graphics are nice even if there are a few things that would merit some more attention.
I do wish ZOS would just take a few months to iron out the already implemented systems as well as some of the visual glitches and this game would be absolutely fantastic.

As far as forums go, I don't post much because I'm not as opinionated or want to voice some of the things already covered here, plus I don't run into a lot of the bugs some people seem to be having. Maybe it's because I don't PvP very much.

So all in all, I'm having a lot of fun. I wouldn't be playing if I didn't.

I still enjoy the game, lots!

Of course, I came here for the TES lore, and not to find a "perfect game"... and so far, the lore has not disappointed! I like the stories, I love the visuals, I enjoy the dynamic combat system way more then many other games where I get to stare at two dozend cooldown counters in "combat"... sure, there are the occasional bugs, balance issues, suboptimal features and all that. But it does get better... new nifty stuff gets added... the DLCs are lovely... the crown store is nice enough... and someday in the (hopefully) not too distant future I will even be able to recustomize my characters to get them -just right-...

All in all, still my all time favorite game.
'nuff said.

Im kn the ps4 , the game keeps me intrested. We just started vet maw raid and its worth it. Dont get me wrong the end game needs work which they are doing , arena pvp , also i still dream of a necromancer healer to play.

I will keep playing aslong as eso keeps working on the game, good job zos im very happy to play ur game

I'm... taking a break. Something snapped in my noggin during the last days of the XP event and I realised that I was bored, or at least not having as much fun as I used to. Admittedly this could be for a plethora of largely unrelated reasons.

So I'm cataloguing my Skyrim mods, because apparently that's currently more engaging (what the hell, brain)

I'll be back. They always come back.

It has been becoming more and more frustrating lately but yes I do still have fun - occasionally at least. However when I do it's mostly not from playing the game how it's supposed to be played and despite ZOS best attempts rather than thanks to them

Also, one thing I do greatly enjoy still is people. Sometimes I just log in, do nothing but chat to people for an hour, log off lol. I have been trying to find ways to have fun though since there're some great things about this game, leveling a new character to maybe have some fun in PvP (again) with it right now

I like the world and the lore. But I hate the level system and how easily helpless I feel against the challenges (which many other's laugh at cause of some obviously simple reason that eludes me)

Basically the game has devolved into a "Walk Around And Take In The World While Staring At My Khajiit's Hips Sway As She Walks" simulator, with some fighting here and there.

Yup. Still love every minute of this game. I played FFXI for 10 years, and thought that no other MMO could ever come close to the experience that I got from that game, but ESO is better.

Nowadays I like playing ESO: Forumrage unlimited more than ESO: Tamriel unlimited.... Log in for about 20 mins a day on weekdays just to clear crafting dailies while hoping that DB will bring some changes. Apart from that, weekends I log in about an hour or 2 for guild PvP. So I guess its not all that bad.
