Vault of Umbrage or the bane of Flawless Conqueror?

During the final round the fight with the argonian boss, bad RNG can kill your flawless run, as it killed about 7 for me already. We all know that when you kill one of the adds the boss enrages and the other spawns a bubble to protect himself and the player. Even tho i wait until the venomcaller spawns and dies, then position the add that is suposed to stay alive and create the bubble, sometimes WHILE YOU ARE IN THE BUBBLE a litle plant spawns and explodes rioght under your feet, so basically die to the poison or the boss scream.

Reguarding how to circle around this, there is a way actually, interrupt the boss, purge yourself and then wait for the next enrage, the thing is the poison hits VERY VERY HARD every half second, and stamina builds don't have shields to counter it as the poison also takes healing recieved away, pretty sure is somewhat like 60%-80% (I might be wrong, sorry if thats the case).

IMO the bubble should be a zone free of poison even if the player is affected just before it becomes a "3rd pool" to cleanse.

This is NOT a discussion for a NERF in vMael, NO. Its more like a fix since the player can have his perfect run ruined by bad RNG, and Flawless Conqueror shouldn't depend on RNG as much as skill.

Keep things cool guys! I want to hear other people opinions

Yep round 7 *** me in the ass for weeks trying for flawless. Always the wamasu with an invisible impending storm. Same happened today, flawless bar that part. Done it but it sucks ass to die in these crappy situations.

In an ideal world, the bubble ought to provide poison immunity in addition to scream immunity.

Also, there's that 1- or 2-second window after killing the first minder where the boss is enraged, and he's still doing normal attacks with enraged damage. I've died so many times to 1-shot stomps as I try to move into position to the surviving minder.

Of course, both issues have been reported multiple times by various people, yet ZOS has yet to do anything about them.

And I got my most BS death ever last night: Final boss, after destroying all three crystals and being knocked down into the lava ring, I couldn't get out of it--there was some sort of terrain issue where my character couldn't walk out of that lava as usual, and all it took was about 2 seconds (didn't even have time to try to fully react and figure out a solution) for that lava to kill me.

Why can't the outward explosion from killing the three crystals be an inward implosion that knocks you into the arena instead of into the lava ring? "Yay, you successfully completed the mechanics and destroyed all three crystals--allow me to reward you by knocking you into the same hazard that you fall into if you had failed the mechanics."

    Agree.

It's bad enough to put up with pathetic last chest and weekly reward rng, nevermind rng in round 7 also.

Still not as bad as the old stranglers in round 3 ...

I agree though stage 7 plants are probably the last real screw you mechanic left in vMA that can completely *** on however well you play. Just the damage variety on the poison is ridiculous. I have had anywhere from 4k to 8k damage taken per tick and the value seems to be completely random.

Yep, lost a few no-deaths here until I ended up getting it. You just have to keep trying and hoping!

The shield bubble should protect you from the poison the plants inflict you with.

Yeah stage 7 sucks ass. Was going for flawless on nightblade this weekend, poison killed me 4 or 5 times, but got it done. Stage 5 is a bit of a pain aswell, but that's just a lot of adds, no broken mechanics.

Got flawless conq. yesterday... and had your same problem... I had to interrupt the rage and run to the purge zone... but as you said... as a magika nightblade I had healing ward to spam during the travel...as a stamina.. it's harder...I didn't managed to complete "flawless" way when my character was stamina... just stormproof :)
