PvE too easy or MagNB too OP?

I am a level vet8 magicka NB, doing vet 8 area. And for the last few levels there is nothing that threats my hp bar.
All dolmens can be soloed with no effort and my HP doesnt drop bellow 85%. Any boss monster in the maps can be soloed with no effort or HP drop. I mean any, even the most difficult to solo (the trio of mages in the beginning of Auridon).

It is just literally a walk in the park with no worries about death.

Does other classes or build feels the same? Or its me that for some reason became the best player in the world?

This game has the easiest PvE ever (aside from Maelstrom and the new Vet Trial). So nope, it sounds about right lol. Also, Mag NB is an extremely strong solo class anyways because of their self healing/damaging abilities.

Sorc is easy mode. you can tank heal and do max dps. all in light armor. dont talk about a class being OP when that exists

PvE is stupid easy in this game. I did the Vet10 areas in what would be the final zone in Cadwell's gold at like vet5 and face-rolled everything on a magblade.

Craglorn would be a very fun challenging solo zone if they tweaked it a little bit, as far as the quest lines go.

    Both!

They nerfed the zones pretty hard and are now very easy. The new bosses in Wrothgar and Hew's Bane are pretty tough imo, so you can try those if you want a challenge.

I've only tried vet maelstrom once and it was rough for my character build champion points at that time. Normal version was stupid easy.

    Overworld PvE is a joke.

That said, magblades are quite powerful. But you'll think everything is OP if your metric of success is the overworld PvE.

As others have said, overland PvE has been made so easy in this game it's almost possible to run through the leveling zones in your sleep. Try vMA, it will teach you humility ;)

PvE in this game has been laughably easy for many people for some time now. Back in the before-time, and I mean way back, before CP, before the up-scaling of everyone stats, before removal of stam regen while blocking, before Craglorn even, the pve in this game was really really hard. Going against 2-3 trash mobs, even if you knew the mechanics, was guaranteed suicide. Playing solo was impossible. It caused a lot of people to quit or take breaks, people weren't able to progress without a group, and vet zones were completely dead, so finding a group if you weren't in a guild was really hard to do. There was a miniature uproar back then, and the result is what we have today.

It wasn't actually that hard, even then. Was a huge mistake to nerf difficulty as much as they did, what they should have done is increase the rewards for veteran gameplay. People hit that progression/reward wall and got frustrated. Game was way more fun to play at launch difficulty because mechanics mattered.

There were maybe three or four of the CC-immune overland world bosses in vet zones that were too hard to solo for most builds at launch, and a few public dungeon champions/group events. People just freaked out because the difficulty jumped dramatically in vet zones and they weren't prepared skill or gear wise.

Craglorn was hard when it was released, but even craglorn delves were soloable for strong builds.

You must have not been there 1 month after the game came out when they accidentally(I believe they fixed it within a few weeks) made all the overworld mobs have health bars of vet dungeon instanced mobs. Like before the patch each mob had like 1.8-2k life and all of a sudden they were at 4.4-5k health with your average dps being 300. Basically took like 10 seconds since per side let mob and if it was a pack of three you couldn't do it on alone.

Having levelled all classes to at least V10, you should be able to solo all the 1-V10 content including dolmens and public dungeons.

You should also be able to solo most of Craglorn, save the stuff that requires lever pulling or plate standing-upon.

Champion points have made this even more ridiculously easy.

I like the difficulty of the PvE. Myself the quests are about the story, immersion, etc and learning.

Any game I've played in, if the group was good it felt easy. Still makes the process fun.

Plus there are plenty of difficult things to try. vMA, solo vet dungeons, wrothgar Ogre is pretty tough solo, IC dolmens and bosses, flag bosses.

And then, to me, the true end game, PvP

Honestly open-world PvE is pretty easy, but I pretty much feel that's how it should be. Trials and world bosses should add some challenge, harder vet dungeons would be nice, maybe dolmens with some tweaks but in general I don't think there is a need to make most open-world hard.

Magicka nightblade is also one of the best overall classes in the game atm, so that always helps.

I must be oblivious to what everyone else seems to know perfectly. Cause PvE had definitely not being easy for me.

My first time as a Sorc was utterly horrendous. I was always a few levels under the zone's mobs, health potions were my best friends, area bosses took several lives to finish and I avoided Dolmens completely.

My second time as a Dragonknight fared much better, (particularly due to the x100% cake making me overleveled), but It's still a challenge cause I still found myself in fights where I'm not paying attention to my health bar and I get my butt whooped.

Open world PvE is a joke, especially as a magicka char and even more as a magicka NB, which is able to self heal while simultaneously doing damage by spamming Funnel Health. If you are not a magicka NB just equip a restoration staff for your second bar and spam some Mutagen/RR or Healing Ward. You want to train skills while leveling anyways, so besides class skills start with destruction staff and restoration staff skill line early.

I had no clue about this game in the beginning and tried to lvl my first char - Imperial NB - as a stamina build, in the good old times where quests and trash was somewhat harder. It was a bad decision.
