People that block you after trash talking!

Happened to me once, as soon as I logged on I started heading to a keep battle, and a couple stealth Nightblades tried ganking me off my horse just outside the keep. Shortly after the fight started, 4-5 more friendly players showed up and we quickly dispatched the gankers. Naturally, I went to /shovel them for ganging up on me, and got accused of "calling my zerg" and being a terrible player. Was already blocked before I got a chance to tell him he deserved it for ganking solo players with a group.

I really don't understand the rage-tell into block combo. Isn't the whole point of rage-telling to get a reaction out of the other person?

It's all very unoriginal. The next time it happens, try something funny over the corpse, like /cheer, or /thumbsup or something. /dig, /shovel, /dance are so boring and overdone, and teabagging is only funny if you know the other person well, otherwise it's just lame and amateurish, no wonder he was mad.

This is exactly what I do. I never t-bag strangers. I would rather cheer or clap at them.

It's fun to keep the foulest and most abusive rage tells you receive as trophies. Thank you to all of you who supply them. Thank you also to German who taught me to savour them. It's especially gratifying when the hate tellers go offline afterwards. The sad part is missing the chance to thank them for immortalizing themselves in your photo gallery/screenshots. The saddest part though is that if any of us posted them in here we'd be the ones getting banned.

I came after one guy, totally away from main fight and other players. I wasn't in stealth and was in plain view.

We had a pretty enjoyable 1v1 and I managed to take him down.

He then raged at me as a f******* Zerg baby etc ???? and put me on ignore

The ones I actually enjoy are those sorcs who just wont go down. They usually jump up and down as they fight, taking everyone down around them. They are having such a good time in their Jedi inpregnability. A few light attacks with shield-breaker, its the only skill that gets through, and then they die. Lordy lordy the tirade of abuse that follows and then - ignore, LOL.

I get those from time to time, I find most of them come from gankers, who keep coming back and ganking the same people over and over and die over an over, must be something to do with thickness of the skull or something lol
I like the tells from the person you just killed telling you how bad a player you are and you need to get gud, that's their spelling not mine. LOL

I usually get my lute out and play em a little tune. A nice send-off as they float up into the clouds.

Tbagging is just lazy and should only be dished out when its really deserved. So many just do it cos they are are da nutz.

It depends when I get hate mail well go back and forth but after 3 or 4 messages I'll block them just because I don't need to be known a a cyber bully cause they make it too easy when they rage I wonder how many kids Ive made cry or want to snap there disks in half fun times.

Muting people after you rage message them? Thats just pathetic, those people need to grow some balls. I mute people sometimes but only when they rage message me (I never rage message anyone myself, just Lol at them when they message me), it's funny to get rage messages but some of these people just won't shut up and keep messaging me, and in the end I have a game to play so I send them a few "Lol, U mad bro? U mad bro" messages and then mute them. God I love inciting people's impotent rage, it's priceless.

I don't like pissing off everyone of course, generally if I fight someone and win I bow after and then ride away, but some people are even teabagging at me while the fight is still going on, and those people I like pissing off. If they're not adult enough to have a fun, mature fight, then all they're good for is to be laughed at and ridiculed. It's actually pretty rare that I get rage messages though, most people I just bow to and move on. It's unusual for me to find someone that butthurt, and I'm glad too because I prefer a good, honest fight between grown-ups. That's why I teabag Gankers sometimes though, just because they tried to get the jump on me and tend to be afraid of a fair fight.

Bruh, the proper etiquette is to block them first then initiate your mocking responses, cuz you can pm ppl you have blocked on this game. /logic

I never send rage tells, it seems silly to me. I do send tells if I find something amusing and wanted to share.

I did send a tell to someone to tell them they really harshed my buzz because they killed me after we made sure not to hit each other during the dolmen. He was quick to reply with an apology though. Another EP was running around as well as I and I guess he was going for that dude. He said he felt really bad about it so he sent me 500 gold lol. That was nice.

But my 1st rage tell I got was a few weeks ago. I was running around one of the towns and a low level AD came and hit me, so I killed him. A few minutes later I am marked again. I find him and kill him again. He then tells me he hopes I get cancer and die, then blocked me right after. I almost felt bad for him. Almost.

Yeah, I don't know why ZOS doesn't fix "offline" mode so that you are actually OFFLINE and can't send/receive messages at all. Also, as other posters have mentioned, you shouldn't be able to message someone you have already blocked.

I have special characters in my name, usually, and I play with @Suru often, but people will go out of their way to look up the alt code for my character's name and then rage tell me anyways >_> Suru's name is 4 freaking characters. I don't get it.
