Think of it this way though: When 3+ people are at an anchor the Daedra are pretty much slaughtered upon spawning. Tough Daedra may last a few seconds but still get slaughtered. If the spawn rate were to speed up though Daedra would appear more often and be able to put up a better fight. Don't know about ya'll but that sounds like a good time to me
And if you happen to be the correct level for the area and dont have access to good crafted weapons and armor, then the faster spawn would kill you and you couldnt solo one if there was no one there to assist.
Your talking about them completely redoing something that isnt broke, just to make it better for you and not the newer player s in the area that may be new to the game/area.
IF IT AINT BROKE, DONT FIX IT!
Faster spawn rate doesn't mean raise the cap of the number of Daedra that CAN be present at any given time. It would present no more danger than already exists, especially since the increased rate would not apply for just one person.
And no it wouldn't be for just me. Plenty of the playerbase do not visit these forums to voice their opinions so no one truly knows what would please or displease them until it happens. As a result I cannot vouch for whether what I am speaking up for would be what others want too but what can it hurt? Trust me I've been to dolmens plenty enough to know how things are and this would inconvenience no one.
Are you sure about this?
Considering I visit them with my alts all the time, yes. Can you truly say the same?
Well, I think we've already identified what is vs what you thought was the case and I hoped it would help you understand better why your ideas don't fit due to the current and original intent of these events.
Do I visit these often? I visit them on my main or alts to complete and if I happen to roll by one, I jump in because I think the events are really cool. I read a lot on this game and based on those who either work for ZOS or those who are gamers as a profession who are paid by developer companies to play their games....I believe that information suggests that your thoughts about how these work aren't completely accurate.
Specific to grinding exp efforts, my entire goal is to clearly educate you and anyone who comes by that this is not a good source of exp other than the original (first completion).
Anything that you continue to do after that is on your own efforts but with more information than you came into this thread with.
Specific to any suggested changes...I've not read one from you that either identifies a problem or that is feasible because the events are working as intended and any and all bugs are resolved.
Happy grinding.
You cannot educate on opinion alone. You think it isn't good xp, I do. We both have different perspectives there so of course we won't see eye to eye. I do recognize your perspective though and am glad you have fun at dolmens. Continue to do so

The amount of exp given is not an opinion, its a fact. It is also a fact that there is much, much, better exp grinding spots out there. Not sure where you are mixing fact and opinion up, but you need to realize which is which.

No....see thats the issue from your perspective.
I'm not arguing any points or opinions, I'm sharing facts of how the game works specifically to dolemans.
My opinions on your ideas just also happen to fall into fact because of prior ZOS information and the intent of these events.
Its not up for discussion that after the first completion of a doleman, the exp is not better than literally any other activity...
Lets go further...if you're not doing them at level, its literally pointless for exp gains.
*This is all per ZOS on ESO Live as well as patch notes and comments from devs about exp gains*
Oh man! This stubborn, single-minded thread is still on the first page?
Here is a solution for you to appease everyone:
Breaking the 4th pinion doesn't kill off everything, but just causes the boss to spawn.
You can still have "the thrill" of killing all the daedra you were "promised", and things keep moving to not add artificial time/restrictions on anyone.
Boom.

It caters to everyone in the equation.
No need to laugh at it because it's not what was originally suggested.

Oh you were serious? Wow... Ok I will explain. One of the things I'm trying to do is make it so we can get more xp from killing the Daedra before the 4th pinion is broken, or just kill them in general. Them being removed early IS the issue at hand.

If you READ what I said, I stated that instead of killing off all reaming daedra (RE: you get ALL the exp, spawns are not cut short.) The pinion JUST triggers the boss to spawn. I.E. if there are daedra still alive, you fight them AND the boss.

Ah ok my bad I misread lol but that would present a problem nonetheless as you may get more Daedra than you bargained for all at once.

The only way that would happen is if multiple people are there doing their own thing. (I.E. you killing daedra, someone else hitting pinions). Hopefully if there are multiple people there, they can handle the couple extra trash mobs
I did... when I was out to take screenshots of inactive ones. I was in areas that lent themselves to good screens, which were well below my own level, so when the mobs came, I left because they were spoiling my shots.UltimaJoe777 wrote: »Besides, no one goes to a dolmen and then just leaves lol

Also not entirely true. I've left dolmens when a group of level appropriate people show up to take it, despite still needing to spawn several generals and such. Only places those come up with any reliable regularity is low level trash dolmens for me.
