Well under the hotfix changes they havent mentioned the cake bug and havent seen anything mentioned. Instead of being an ass why not link the relevant thread as I obviously missed it.

It is not working, actually. 3972 to 4968 is NOT 100% extra exp. We can deduce that the base exp is actually around 2400. 50% of the is 1200 add that and you get 3600 which is around 3972.

The cake doubls your exp, so 2400 x 2 = 4800. So only your cake is working.

No that's not right I will post an additional screen shot without any exp boost except enlightenment and my enlightened cexp for the sphere will 22-2400. If you factor in that I'm at 250 cp's with the curve my total exp gain is very close to if not exactly 160% not including enlightenment.

edit: plus you can see my natural exp gain w/o ebuff to the right of the screen which is the official games exp tracker. The gold coin with the exp number. So like I said I will post an additional SS tonight w/o any buff active and you will see that that number will drop even lower than the two SS's I've already posted.

Although I feel for your loss of your XP scrolls, why didn't you stop after the first one? Weren't you able to see that you gained no additional XP when you had the cake buff then applied the scroll?

Well, I put in a ticket to refund the Crown EXP scroll I wasted yesterday, so we'll see how that goes. This is a relatively easy customer service fix for ZOS. Its not like there are Argonians in a secret Dunmer scaleshop churning these things out for less than minimum crown. Someone just verifies the request and sends you another scroll.

I'll come back and let you folks know if it works out.

If you dug up that post im sure you dug up the one i made after explaining why. But i wasnt posting for pity from the general public, i was posting info for the gms in case they were still testing. Nor did i state i wanted a refund or that it was anyones fault. Soooo yeah. Pointless guilt trip?

One small itsy bitsy problem.

Public dungeons gave 100% bonus XP they do not now.

So you basically gave us a two hour cake to do what we were already doing.

You all can farm anywhere in Hew's Bane or Wrothgar for the 'max' XP public dungeons are no longer special.

I kinda like it. Some of us in the public dungeons are actually doing quests. not pulling the entire dungeon and spamming aoes.

Here is what their QA should have looked like:
confirm that you get 100% xp with the cake active

confirm that you get proper stacking with XP scroll

confirm that you get proper stacking with XP pot

confirm that you get proper stacking with mara

confirm that you get proper stacking with ESO Plus

confirm that permutations of the above are functioning

You could test all of that in about 10-15 minutes, and it should be the first thing they do when a patch goes live. A few mishaps from the QA team is indicative a problem with the QA team, and just the fact that it's a game and there will be bugs. Habitual issues with basic levels of QA is indicative of a problem with management and resources, and for two years of this, Matt Firor gets a /golfclap.

So I read this and I agree but I'm starting to think that they do not have a QA team.
Follow my logic here and its not bashing ZOS but just circumstantial evidence.

-They were making the game in BETA and while testing it, in closed BETA for PC along with console and a few bumps hit but less than 30 days of PC and console releases, they both got pushed waaay back.

-Then this is where I suspect a QA process that you and I think should happen, may be evidence that it doesn't exist as we think it should......ZOS tells us that they are in dialogue with Sony and Xbox over the subscriptions as both has their own subs in addition to the game. ZOS says they were having challenges in those conversations.
I think that's odd, because thats not a new program for either console.

Then later, it releases on PC....and we get a lighting update which begins to crash most systems after minutes or hours of play.....

Then we get another console delay as the UI didn't meet console standards (which is odd as neither even today offer mouse+keyboard game play)

Then you fast forward to things like....PTS 32 bit vs 64bit issues or any this or that isn't working as intended.

So now to the cake and exp boosts....I think its logical to suggest the "QA" isn't what you and I suspect if there is one at all.

We do know they have game testers but thats not technically the same as QA

Who remembers the phsijic ambrosia fiasco? Literally the only thing they added was the phsijic ambrosia but they managed to break the game so that even mousing over a recipe in your inventory caused you to crash, thoroughly tested that addition.

For the 64 bit client, in fairness i think its intended to be a beta version of that client which is why you can't launch it from the patcher, they could have communicated that better though.

Just wondering, have they extended the Jubilee Cake festival to mid next week with all the pain and suffering we have had?
I'm on the ps4, and really had some pain last night with all the server lag, 13 seconds to deconstruct a item, are you kidding me 13 secs to.

Yes, it was extended and all issues seem to work as intended per the staff 4.4.16 post. This update hit on 4/5/16 in the late afternoon EST>

Seriously though, a product (Crown EXP scroll) that fails to perform as advertised should be replaced by the seller. This is a relatively easy customer service issue to fix. Let you folks know how it turns out...
