As you can see the Crowns Store scroll is active in both images and I am Enlightened. I fought a the same dwarven sphere in the same spot both times.

Edit: Its kinda hard to see numbers but they are above image 3972 and below image 4968.

The Alliance War Keep buff is not always 5%, but a range, depending on how many keeps your faction controls, starting from 5% all the way up to 15% if your faction controls all home keeps plus nine enemy keeps.

Enemy Keep Bonus I, II 7%
Enemy Keep Bonus III, IV 9%
Enemy Keep Bonus V, VI 11%
Enemy Keep Bonus VII, VIII 13%
Enemy Keep Bonus IX 15%


Just to confirm, this is not limited to the 5% Home Keep Bonus, correct? So for example, if your faction controls 9 enemy keeps and you have Enemy Keep Bonus IX of 15% it will still stack with the Jubilee buff for total of 195%, is that right?

How the Jubilee Cake XP Buff Works
The Jubilee Cake buff for the ESO anniversary event should be stacking with the following XP buffs:

• ESO Plus
• Grouping buff
• Rings of Mara buff
• Exploration Trait XP buff

With the Jubilee Cake buff, you should be getting an additional 100% plus the total possible 85% detailed above, for a grand total of 185%* as the highest possible XP buff increase during the anniversary event. That is not currently happening, though, and the percentage is capping out at 100%. We’re looking into why, as that is not intended.

*Please note: The Alliance War Keep XP buff applies only to monster and player-character kills, and the Exploration Trait XP buff applies only to exploration XP

As part of this hotfix, we will also be changing the Jubilee Cake buff so that it is not removed upon player-character death—this will make it a bit more useful in Cyrodiil and Imperial City.

Yes my cexp is increasing accordingly with the numbers you are seeing, plus the official ESO exp tracker to the right is even showing a regular exp increase.

I am on NA PC though and Enlightened, other than that I am just remembering to reapply the buff after I die, at first i was confused because of it not persisting through death but other than that it has been working perfectly since the event started.

Just really asking cause it would be telling if ur game is actually working correctly so that this ZOS patch comes and it may not fix what it's suppose to after all. That's why I keep asking u details.

My point is that the gold coin on the screen should actually show 4968 and not 1242. I don't believe you're getting the exp u think u are. I do believe your add-ins are calculating what the character screen bonuses should be.

Maybe I'm using the wrong numbers but 1242 isn't 100% more of 993.
Let's say the base is 900....then the total would be 1800 shown on the gold coin and not 1200 in your example

When the cake was announced it was stated that ALL xp bonuses would sack. It was even asked if xp scrolls and xp potions would stack specifically. To which you replied, Yes. So why has this been changed a 50%drop in the xp we were promised is huge.

It is not working, actually. 3972 to 4968 is NOT 100% extra exp. We can deduce that the base exp is actually around 2400. 50% of the is 1200 add that and you get 3600 which is around 3972.

The cake doubls your exp, so 2400 x 2 = 4800. So only your cake is working.

can we make it edible in cyrodil please....not only due to the fact the best grind are there and I dont want to have to leave and re-enter every time I die, but even the simple fact I may want to be receiving 100% more XP while I simple PvP....like anyone in PvE can enjoy.

Will the cake exp also stack with public dungeons 100% EXP that is given within public dungeons. I did not see this in the list and I just wanted to make sure this wasn't left out. If so technically the EXP cap will need to hit 250% as a max for those in public dungeons using ambrosia/scrolls.

@MaxwellCrystal I assume that the double XP in public dungeons is due to a change in the Base XP value, not a percentage modifier, so it will not affect XP boosters as they will be acting on the Base XP.

Enlightenment is definitely throwing this off a bit. However, assuming that 3972 is the base XP value plus 50% in your first screenshot with only the scroll active, we can calculate the base XP for that mob with no XP buff would be 2648.

With that we can then calculate what percent increase 4968 would be. It SHOULD be 150% (100% from cake, and the 50% scroll), however if you do the math, it actually comes to 87.61% which is not even the full 100% of just the cake by itself.

Like I said, there are mitigating circumstances here. You are Enlightened. There is no good data as to how that factors in to the calculation of the numbers displayed by the in-game XP "coin."

This is likely in turn affecting the calculation of the base value with no XP, and if we knew the proper equation for the Enlightenment bonus at your CP level we would most likely find that the actual value you are receiving from the scroll plus the cake is a flat 100% capped xp bonus, like everyone else.

EDIT: Updated OP with info from ZOS on the coming fix.

It doesn't affect it at all. The in-game XP counter is showing XP earned after bonuses. Enlightenment happens after that to determine CP progress, based on an exact ratio of 1:4 (993 XP earned gives 3972 XP towards CPs).

Ok.... So.... No one on the development side tested this before putting it live? It would literally take 30 seconds to test and realize that it doesn't stack with crown scrolls or ambrosia.. Then they could have saved face when they announced the details. "Jubilee cake is a 2 hour repeatable buff that you can use all week! It gives a 100% XP boost but does not stack with other XP boosters"

A lot of numbers were flying around, but this was not really very hard to figure out.

FIRST... Ignore enlightenment and CXP. In this case, the CXP is just going to be 4x whatever the XP awarded is. It is the XP award that is currently bugged and will be fixed today.

The mob is worth 621 XP.

In the first picture, the player is awarded 993 XP. This is 621 XP + 62 XP (ESO Plus) + 310 XP (Scroll) for 993 XP total.
In the second picture, the player is award 1242 XP. This is 621 XP + 621 XP (Cake) for a 1242 XP total. This is "correct" as the game is currently configured.

Once fixed, the player will be awarded 1614 XP. This is 621 XP + 621 XP (Cake) + 62 XP (ESO Plus) + 310 XP (Scroll) for 1614 XP.

If you want to know enlightened Champion Point XP, just take the final XP number times 4.

Thanks for that. It was the ESO Plus I didn't factor in. Basically though my point was that he is capped at 100% like everyone else at present.
