There's a bug list of about 75 in the alliance war section, doing the job that your QA team should be doing. Any chance we'll actually get those addressed as a 2 year anniversary gift? Any chance we'll be able to know what the plan is for DB before it hits PTS in a month so we can help ZOS mitigate the damage that Wrobel is going to inevitably do to combat again?
More importantly, after two years and multiple promises (lies) to do so, any chance we can get ZOS to actually communicate on relevant and important topics?
PvP entitlement. Making sure XP buffs stack is far more important than anything else.

Sure, and I admit that. The confusion clearly arises from the fact that the question she answered was specifically about stacking scrolls and ambrosia, and the fact that she said "All XP boost restrictions will be lifted" and "everything will stack" rather than "every buff will stack". I actually had that interpretation as well. She does specifically say you'll be able to stack everything (just not with itself). To me, that suggests you couldn't stack scrolls on top of each other, or ambrosias on top of each other, but you could stack scrolls and ambrosias, as they are not the same item (specifically considering that was the question that was being answered). To me reading it she did seem a little bit confused as to the answer. Thats why I believe if people put ina ticket for a refund or replacement xp pots they will probably get them. I read it as her saying those two will not stack because she said the same buffs dont stack. I know from experience (pun intended lol) that the scrolls and pots are the same buff. Only diff being duration. A lot of people might not know that. So I believe they will refund money on a case by case basis. So Id put in a ticket. Worst case they say no.0 -

Felt sad about my lost scrolls and just went to bed x)

Here is what their QA should have looked like:- confirm that you get 100% xp with the cake active
- confirm that you get proper stacking with XP scroll
- confirm that you get proper stacking with XP pot
- confirm that you get proper stacking with mara
- confirm that you get proper stacking with ESO Plus
- confirm that permutations of the above are functioning
You could test all of that in about 10-15 minutes, and it should be the first thing they do when a patch goes live. A few mishaps from the QA team is indicative a problem with the QA team, and just the fact that it's a game and there will be bugs. Habitual issues with basic levels of QA is indicative of a problem with management and resources, and for two years of this, Matt Firor gets a /golfclap.3 -

Well thats obviously you misunderstanding. We all know that all xp boosts dont stack with other xp boosts. The same buffs as she clearly says dont stack. XP scrolls and XP pots give the same buff. They dont stack. Never have.
The question being asked was about specific items, not the buffs from items. The response was that all restrictions were removed, and we could stack everything. There was no clarification about similar buffs not stacking, even though the items are different.
Its the same item. One is just an in game version and one is a store version. Its the same. Buffs dont stack with themselves.
Normally, "the same" doesn't mean different names and different durations, acquired through different means.
The buff is the same the only difference is duration.

Then they're not "THE SAME". "The same" implies that they are IDENTICAL. If one has a longer duration, then it is NOT IDENTICAL! It may operate the same code-wise, but doesn't mean what you are implying. Thank you for proving our point.2 -

So I read this and I agree but I'm starting to think that they do not have a QA team.
Follow my logic here and its not bashing ZOS but just circumstantial evidence.
-They were making the game in BETA and while testing it, in closed BETA for PC along with console and a few bumps hit but less than 30 days of PC and console releases, they both got pushed waaay back.
-Then this is where I suspect a QA process that you and I think should happen, may be evidence that it doesn't exist as we think it should......ZOS tells us that they are in dialogue with Sony and Xbox over the subscriptions as both has their own subs in addition to the game. ZOS says they were having challenges in those conversations.
I think that's odd, because thats not a new program for either console.
Then later, it releases on PC....and we get a lighting update which begins to crash most systems after minutes or hours of play.....
Then we get another console delay as the UI didn't meet console standards (which is odd as neither even today offer mouse+keyboard game play)
Then you fast forward to things like....PTS 32 bit vs 64bit issues or any this or that isn't working as intended.
So now to the cake and exp boosts....I think its logical to suggest the "QA" isn't what you and I suspect if there is one at all.
We do know they have game testers but thats not technically the same as QA-PC (PTS)/Xbox One: NewBlacksmurf

Yeah I should have tested it first thing. Thing is, as a customer, you or I should be able to trust the words of company representatives. I was ignorant and blindly trusted what I was told, at detriment to my bank account. Won't happen again

Paazhahdrimaak✭✭✭✭✭I never use experience boosts, so this free 100% is awesome, no game should even have xp boosts. Let alone let you stack it until 180% or whatever. So it's all good by me;)
Makes me laugh seeing all these people breaking down the math and freaking out because the can't stack it. Just enjoy, save your scrolls, save your roe. Enjoy the week.

This is true, to a point. I did receive 9 days free play in April 2014 due to a mess up on my account, so yes I agree they try to care, but, it wont replace the XP scrolls and Ambrosia Potions I wasted due to this statement from ESO/News/Announcements on
3/29/16..."You and anyone in your group will be able to enjoy the cake and receive a 100% XP buff. This buff stacks with all other XP buffs!".
I am still out Crowns, Scrolls and Perfect Roe+Mats and gold, but the free 2days is a nice gesture.

Completely agree....and to add to this.
My real life friend who only plays on certain days and limited mostly to weekends missed out on their crown purchases thinking they would stack. Ya I know it was only for a few hours but...the scroll only lasts for 2 hours so as most buy them in packs, that is $10 they could have used elsewhere in the store.
Then a casual like me who has many scrolls stored away for things like this....I burned one cause I started it....then read the article and parked until the cake hit only to read that it wasn't working so...I guess technically I started it before hand, but its lasting effects were during the cake stacking time-frame.
I would have liked to enjoy its lasting benefits too after using real money regardless of the amount.
