Can someone explain why they can't make 100v100v100 happen again?
It's not that they can't. It's that they won't. The netcode is drastically different now. ZOS has no interest in repairing the damage they did to PvP by reverting the game back 2 years worth of bad patches. Their business model relies on PvE, selling XP, and crown store cosmetic items.
I'm having a hard time trying to figure out why they would mess up the massive pvp battles the game used to have. Why would they hurt their own product?
When the game was released, it was infested with bots. Bots everywhere. Wherever you went, there was a bot farming a delve boss or farming flowers. They forgot to add anti bot measures into. So they did it a few months or so after release. They moved more things to server side instead of client side. It worked with the bots, they were never seen again. But Cyrodiil with its large amounts of players and abilities and everything? The server couldn't handle it from that day on. And ever since then, we've had lag in PvP.
That was the bot/lighting patch.
ZoS never admits mistakes, which is way instead of reverting it and trying to do the anti bot thing some other way, they kept pushing patches, worsening performance in the process.

Why is it that people who 'don't care' about these threads always come to these threads to talk about how annoyed they are about something they don't care about, as if anybody actualy cares that they are annoyed and don't care?I have nothing against Fengrush but isn't it possible if we cared enough we would go to his stream or channel to get this? Why do his followers keep pushing these in the ESO forums?
Strange. The combative comments I see, in general, are people flocking to these threads to cry and moan and whinge and complain about "yet /another/ one of these?????!" And complaining about Feng's alleged complaining even about a video wherein he's not complaining.Like I said I have nothing against him or his videos. But what I've seen from people who consider him (Lord Fengrush) they are usually angry and disruptive, they get very combative when others don't agree. Several threads were closed due to this.
I agree with some of what he says but don't agree with the mass who follow him trying to combat players who don't share the same view as them.

Band Camp statements: To state "But this one time I saw X doing X... so that justifies X" Refers to the Band camp statement.

Really ? Any figures or facts to back this up a little, apart from your own ego and a few followers ?
In the "Fengrush community", maybe. In the ESO community, not so sure. Admittedly, I have no figures either, but one thing stands for sure : the former is of unsignificant scale, the latter is of significant scale.
I have to say it [Thieves Guild Rant video] was very well recieved. Of course there's going to be the polar opposite of people that didn't like it very much, and I get that.
If you're going quote something from the video at least use the exact wording and quote it in contex.
The video had 21,994 views on Youtube it got 1,062 likes and 114 dislikes. The Reddit post that was made about the video received a 74% up-vote, with many of the comments agreeing with it. The posts on the forums also had more positive comments than negative. I'd call that a pretty positive reception by the community in varying places.

I didn't quote from the video. I quoted from Fengrush's post right here, a few posts above, with 100% accuracy, in context. The video had 21,994 views on Youtube it got 1,062 likes and 114 dislikes. I would not call this a positive reception, nor would I call these "the ESO community". IMHO that's "the Fengrush community". But thanks for the figures, I guess people can make their own mind about them.
Or perhaps they're based on statistical facts dictated by things like Likes and up-votes on reddit, as well as the general tone of people commenting on the videos that get shared here [snip]anitajoneb17_ESO wrote: »Sentences such as "my videos are well received by the community" serve this purpose very well.
Really ? Any figures or facts to back this up a little?Having these videos posted by other people and these threads kept active by their fans is part of this strategy as well. It looks like there's actually a "group" of people of a relevant size thinking what they think and promoting their ideas, but in reality they could be as few as 5-10 guys.
And if they were this tight-knit cabal of propaganda peddlers, they would have a ready-made video to post that contained concision. Instead, it's people just posting the raw video, or long excerpts from it; hardly a conspiracy. But if that's what you need to attribute to it in order to process it, go ahead. Just don't expect to not be laughed at for it.There's one thing however they should take into consideration : streaming is for an audience that has time to waste. It's about filling 2 hours or more with stuff that could be said in 10 minutes. Opinion videos such as this one is the opposite : they are aimed at a much larger audience (that's the goal) but that audience doesn't have over an hour to waste on something that could be said in 10 minutes.

It used to be "the lighting patch broke pvp" and now he's on the "the anti-bot code" broke pvp.

Begins with talking about how long he's been playing for and says BS such as "I can see whats coming with ESO"
All I see is a very large ego that cant handle ZOS not listening to a word that comes out of his mouth.
The horrible game footage the whole "The game is gone, they cant bring it back. There is no amount of changes that can bring it back" hahah it literally sounds like he's trying to do everything to stop people playing ESO. Its all for pride because ZOS wont give his lame ass the time of day. He's lucky Im not a part of the company because I would simply ban or delete his account or even make the RNG or his damage ridiculously to stress him out even more.
Dark Brotherhood/Player housing so what? Because it isn't PVP ZOS shouldnt bring two of the highest demanded additions to the game?
ZOS make PVE DLC because TES are PVE games. If you dont like the PVP, TES or ZOS just get on your bike and play the many other games you compare it with on the forums every other day.
and btw, wtf do you people even want added to PVP? All I EVER see is "I miss the good old days of PVP" but WHAT do you even want added? All your ideas conflict with each other but ultimately its because "Fengrush" says so. Its like a little rebellion against ZOS haha "lets all join the rebels because that means we have our own voice!" the complete opposite effect is happening you crowd following rats
I was almost agreeing with you but you lost me in the end with your ignorance to the PvP problems, anti PvP attitude and you're thinking that ESO is a TES game.
Does Fengrush act like a spoiled child sometimes. Yes. Does Fengrush make some really good points regarding ZOS direction, bugs, attitude, etc? Yes.
He's passionate about the game. It's a good thing he is still ranting for it. If Matt Firor actually gave insight to the direction of the game, it would calm down a lot of people's attitude towards the game.
They won't do that though. They want to act like they're working to appease all groups of players, when in reality they don't give a *** about anyone but who spends the most money in the crown store.

That's disgusting. How could a company think of utilising a business plan that supports the areas generating the most income. It's like they expect to be profitable, and this is an issue that should be rectified immediately.
