Can someone explain why they can't make 100v100v100 happen again?
It's not that they can't. It's that they won't. The netcode is drastically different now. ZOS has no interest in repairing the damage they did to PvP by reverting the game back 2 years worth of bad patches. Their business model relies on PvE, selling XP, and crown store cosmetic items.

You know - theres a lot of trailers for it. You dont have to look hard. Ill grab you one.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c1rVLW3ZsKg
That game in that video doesnt exist today. It doesnt work if you tried to play the game in that video.
Did you ever play this game on PC? Or are you xbox only? If so - the part of the video directed towards console-only players should resonate a bit more with you.
I followed this game for years, and a lot of PC/console players did. Also - pointing out these issues dont exist on console really isnt accurate. The biggest xbox streamer agrees that performance is hindered in a big way, and many players from console have messaged and commented how they experience these issues as well. Discussion is welcome - denial is embarrassing.
Your wrong about that video, played PvP the last few days for like 8 to 10 hours straight each day and its pretty close to that video, only difference is you move around a lot more then in that one scene in the video when they are standing there fighting each other.
Only problem I had was long loading screen at peak hours. Which is quite annoying for sure. Plus the game crashed maybe 2 times each day.
This was vet non CP campaign.
The argument wasn't if PvP was like that video or not. It's if ESO advertised big PvP fights as a main feature. It Did. Look Up.
Dont need too, this is the Video that got me into ESO looks like mostly PvE. I didnt think Molug Bal is a real person... so thats PvEhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XH9fCA3dmGc
The discussion isn't about what advertisement got you into the game. It's about whether PvP was advertised as being a main feature of the game, and it's a fact that it was. Just because you got into the game for one advertisement doesn't make all of the others invalid.
Well thats what that other guy was trying to say lol, for me though if it had of been only advertised as PvP I would not have started playing/ bought the game in the first place. It was advertised as a "MMO" Not PvP only.
When this game launched, there were no trials. No DSA. No Maelstom arena. PvP was Endgame. It was the ONLY endgame activity and the only reason to get your character to max level.
PvP was the pinnacle of this game's achievement and the crow jewel of marketing campaigns. So many people joined the game after seeing the epic siege battles.
But everything changed when the bot nation attacked.

^^^This. They obviously made a business decision on what route they would go in the future and PVP was not a priority for the future. As people always forget, their #1 goal is to be profitable, it is never to make the best game.
What he wants is to ultimately hold ZOS at ransom by creating a support base of followers that are all apparently "anti ZOS and anti PVE" and want ZOS to meet all of their demands. It wont happen.
Begins with talking about how long he's been playing for and says BS such as "I can see whats coming with ESO"
All I see is a very large ego that cant handle ZOS not listening to a word that comes out of his mouth.
The horrible game footage the whole "The game is gone, they cant bring it back. There is no amount of changes that can bring it back" hahah it literally sounds like he's trying to do everything to stop people playing ESO. Its all for pride because ZOS wont give his lame ass the time of day. He's lucky Im not a part of the company because I would simply ban or delete his account or even make the RNG or his damage ridiculously to stress him out even more.
Dark Brotherhood/Player housing so what? Because it isn't PVP ZOS shouldnt bring two of the highest demanded additions to the game?
ZOS make PVE DLC because TES are PVE games. If you dont like the PVP, TES or ZOS just get on your bike and play the many other games you compare it with on the forums every other day.
and btw, wtf do you people even want added to PVP? All I EVER see is "I miss the good old days of PVP" but WHAT do you even want added? All your ideas conflict with each other but ultimately its because "Fengrush" says so. Its like a little rebellion against ZOS haha "lets all join the rebels because that means we have our own voice!" the complete opposite effect is happening you crowd following rats

Except that some companies actually have an ethics and quality policy that exceeds just the mere platitudes. Believe it or not, not all companies have to minimize quality and customer care to maximize profits. This is just not one of those.

I appreciate them posting his videos because I don't visit YouTube for same reason I don't visit imgur on my own free will. I'll wake up from a stupor and realize I just wasted 5 hours of my life browsing videos and pictures.
Plus I really enjoyed his TG review. It resonated the same feeling I have.
Like I said I have nothing against him or his videos. But what I've seen from people who consider him (Lord Fengrush) they are usually angry and disruptive, they get very combative when others don't agree. Several threads were closed due to this.
I agree with some of what he says but don't agree with the mass who follow him trying to combat players who don't share the same view as them.

Correct, i dont agree with what is going on. Like i find it incredibly hard to believe they didnt know the cake was bugged. It was one single item being launched, thats it. They had to know it was bugged and knew people would buy XP stuff off the crown store to stack which would make them money.

I'm having a hard time trying to figure out why they would mess up the massive pvp battles the game used to have. Why would they hurt their own product?

You know what's funny, those aren't even "PVE" trailers lol. Idk if you noticed or not but they are fighting a WAR give or take some "monsters" thrown in for cinematic purposes. There are Dolmens in Cyrodiil too, you know? I didn't see one boss, I didn't see skyshards, I didn't see guild traders, I didn't see trials, I didn't see a solo arena, I didn't see people gathering materials, making gear, leveling up etc...All I see is a faction fighting another faction getting interrupted by demons (another faction?). PVP brah. I PvE too don't get me wrong, but the majority of their trailers focus on the Alliance War, which is a GIGANTIC PART OF TES LORE
I lasted to 9 mins 43 seconds...k...pvp, zos are working on a fix for the lag...arenas are coming...with duels coming at some stage too, I dare say. To say that pvp'ers have been left out to dry doesn't quite ring true. Atm zos are making eso a familiar TES game with as much of the features one can expect, and yep, that means pve stuff. But that does not mean that zos is totally neglecting a large chunk of their player base: wheels are in motion, you just got to stick around for the ride....

I agree with that guy in the video %100 i would speak more harshly i ve been playing since beta and i was waiting a fix for cyrodiil performance and lag, after thieves guild i just lost my all hope and stopped playing. And the funny thing last time i checked that lag in cyrodiil it was spreading all over tamriel then i alt+f4 for good.

If you are getting extreme lag anywhere but cyrodill in a large fight its probably on your end someplace. I know I know other games work etc. Other games servers dont use the same routes etc that ZOS does and vice versa.
