Friend, I really don't feel like derailing the positive turn this has taken by getting into a *** for tat over whether there is some arbitrary threshold under which people aren't entitled to grievances over financial loss. Under that flawed premise no grievance would be relevant unless it totaled in the millions, if you happened to be a billionaire.

I am simply happy to see this come to the best possible resolution. A confirmed correction of the problem AND an additional TWO days on the event!

I'm no legal expert but realistically this was a bug, an unintentional glitch. ZOS responded in a timely manner with a sufficient good faith effort here, and offered reimbursement in the form of more time with double the paid XP bonus.

Expecting more than that is just unrealistic IMHO.

Sure you could spend the time and get really upset and try pursuing some recourse but honestly, legally, I don't think it will go anywhere and besides as they say...

If it were me (and I used a few of those XP items myself), I would simply cut my losses and enjoy the remainder of the extended event.

You are right there. Since the scrolls are 50% and the cake is 100% the cake overrides the scroll just like it does plus.Remember too ambrosia and the xp scrolls never stacked before they wont magically start stacking now. So you cant use all three at once.

I understand that. I wasted a crown scroll, but I'm not upset because I'm still gaining 100%. I'm happy to be earning 180% once it gets fixed. 500 crowns would be a nice jester to attempt to appease some. All in all, it doesn't matter to me either way in the big picture.

They lost (potentially) a lot of scroll sales today, and even more in the coming week due to bad faith. This mistake hurt their pockets more than any individual player. And, it's a PR nightmare.

I'm very slightly bummed that I lost 1 scroll, but I'm really glad I don't have to sift through PMs from angry players asking for their 2 dollars. I'd much rather be on this side of this mess.

It IS a form of reimbursement.

Expecting them to devote man hours to pouring over logs to micromanage who had what buffs at what times for how long is, in my opinion, simply an unreasonable expectation in this case.

Enjoy the extra time with massive XP boosts and the freedom to grind in cracked troll cave in PVP to your heart's content!

But this "fix" does not take into account people who only had a specific timeframe to take advantage of this bonus in. If the people who used XP Ambrosia Pots or CS XP Scolls submit tickets ZOS SHOULD be able to look at their accounts and see if they used what they claimed they did and replace it if so.

Exploration Trait XP buff – Varies depending on how many armor pieces have the Trait (applies only to exploration XP)

It is currently possible to stack XP buffs for a total possible increase of 85% for most types of content. There is normally a cap in place that prevents any event (a quest completion, a monster kill, etc.) from granting more than 10% of your total level value. For the anniversary event, that cap was raised from 10% to 30%.

How the Jubilee Cake XP Buff Works
The Jubilee Cake buff for the ESO anniversary event should be stacking with the following XP buffs:
Alliance War Keep buff

Crown Experience Scroll OR Psijic Ambrosia

ESO Plus

Grouping buff

Rings of Mara buff

They don't read the forum and unless someone mentions it in Zone or Guild chat, they would never know. One of my guilds updated their notice today to warn people, but to be honest, it is not our job to get the word out for ZOS.

Hopefully, all those people will write to Customer Support so they can get replacements for the Potions and Scrolls that were wasted.

Will the cake exp also stack with public dungeons 100% EXP that is given within public dungeons. I did not see this in the list and I just wanted to make sure this wasn't left out. If so technically the EXP cap will need to hit 250% as a max for those in public dungeons using ambrosia/scrolls.

185% EXP buff is exactly what I am currently getting... this is crazy pills. How am I the only person on server this is working for? I will take screen shots tonight and post though it will take a bit I have to wait for buffs to wear off. And if someone could pm instructions on how to link an image into forums I'd appreciate it.
