But then again when you look at your weapon slots you will see it take 2 slow which mean it can count as 2 ?
If it takes up both hands it should count as two set pieces. And it is kinda silly that two swords give more magic damage than a staff, but I didn't want to mention that on the boards for fear that they would nerf the swords rather than fix the staves.

They don't want players with a bunch of sets active at once.

You see? most mag build running DW instead of Staff because DW give them more spell damage.
lol staff that make for magician right now is worth less than DW that ZOS intended for stam build.

Doesn't matter if DW gives magicka classes more spell damage. That isn't the best means for maximizing damage.
I can guarantee you I can hit harder and sustain damage better than majority of people using DW with a destroy staff while weaving. People underestimate the Light/Medium weaves from destroy or even a fully charged heavy attack.

If it doesn't matter why most ppl running DW instead of staff ?

No it doesn't. Who cares?
Let people run what they want for their own reasons, and not everyone is running DW. Those that do are doing it for a very specific build, under false impressions that it's better than destro, or for RP reasons. Either way, in the end who cares?
Same reason it gets one enchant vs 2, its one weapon.
There ARE consequences to decisions. Chosing 2h or bow or staff or dw or ss have consequences.
That is diverdity.
If for one char set slots for 552 are important, i can choose dw or ss.
For another char if 542 or 533 i can choose any of the ranged weapons or the 2h.
There is a thread running strong on this forum about how much better the 2h skill line is than dw and ss looking at the skills and internal versatility. In my mind, 2H should be better "inside" bc it is one slot less on the outside. So i am ok with that perspective.
Its important to NOT focus on one element, one ingredient or one piece of the puzzle but look at the whole.
Why?
Because if you focus on matching your element, someone else on matching theirs you wind up with sameness.
To me, if you have two 20 dollar bills, i have a 20 and two 10s, another guy has three 10s and a pair of 5s then focusing on "third guy is the only one without a 20 lets fix that" misses the picture.

No. It's still only ONE weapon.
It's called two handed because you need two hands to operate it.
Otherwise it would be called a two weapon weapon.
And they're not "weapon" slots. They're hand slots.
And hands don't count for set items. Set items count for set items.

Wait wait wait if it does take hand slot why is not count as 2 when you use 2 hands to hold great sword(not 1 hand like staff)
LMAO
and hands don't count for set items ? then all weapons should not count as set items.
