Anyone stupid enough to ram that kind of money down ZOS gullet will have to defend it to the bitter end goes without saying. No matter what the white knights say this is a complet and utter rip off, but as the saying goes fools and their money........
Jeez it just hurts to see what they have made out of this once so awesome game....................
About the Fence assistant,..you cant launder anything or get your bounty removed. So,she just buys items. And takes her 35% off the top. I'd prefer it to be like 15% or 20% instead.
Yep, I called that portable fence once*, sold one item to them, and then deactivated it.
*Actually called it a few times as you have to Quickslot the thing to use it, and it I kept calling it rather than my potion. So, I would die as Fence was crouching by my side. At least they were not tea bagging me.....

The banker is really useful for swapping gear between characters and during dungeons etc, the merchant is really only useful for grinding until she can repair.
Yes, the Banker is great for having your whole garderobe of possibly needed Armor set pieces available at all times.
and even better when the Crafter bag is there freeing up inventory space.
There is only one but...
And that is that you can by mistake deconstruct some of your valuable armor set pieces.
I think it would be a blessing if we get the option to tag such items to protect them from decon by mistake.
There are a few mods that let you tag them. One has small blue markers to the side if each item so you are aware that it is part of a set you like.Paulington wrote: »Having bought both I can tell you the banker only gives access to your personal bank and the merchant can only be sold to, she actually sells or repairs nothing.

I have Wykkds (sp) outfitter and any equipment that is part of a saved set is tagged with a big blue arrow next to it. Not sure this would fit your need, but keeps me from deconning extra sets I have on me.

I'm curious.. how much in £ does 5000 crowns cost?
in america 100 crown = 1 dollar

137.5 Crowns = 1 dollar actually. (5500 crowns for 39.99)

Depends on where you live in the world. 5500 crowns would cost me $67.12.

I will purchase the banker for gear-swaps and thinning inventory while questing/dungeon running. Price is high for the convenience but better than skins i will never wear or pets i will never run. The price would be much better if i could access guild bank and guild store, no question.
As an aside given the usual plethora of ZOS dis-noise coming up through the gutter grates - i am perfectly happy with ZOS monetizing via the crown store and appreciate their resisting the temptation to sell game-changing items vs game-enhancing & game-convenience items. If they keep delivering great DLC content that i enjoy, i may even spend crowns on some vanity items just to support their efforts....

People complaining about the price... should have bought more 5500 Crown packs when they were $23.99 a couple of weeks ago... then you'd only be paying HALF price for the assistants. Glad I stocked up on Crowns when they were on sale.
