Yeah, the game just keeps going downhill since B2P. If they had actually stuck to their promises and not gone B2P, kept releasing content regularly while it was still P2P then it could've been so much better. These days we have crown store things just getting more and more pushed into the game with "subtle" hints that you can buy crown store items instead of having to buy them with ingame currency. *looking at the crafting style materials*

Not to mention how everything just went super grindy as soon as B2P was put in, with every single new crafting style motif no longer drops in complete books most of the time, but in chapters with the style materials taking forever to get a decent amount of, most likely to promote those "optional" style materials that you can use to craft any style with as an example.

People without money to burn probably won't miss out on these till it goes on sale. I'm already used to carrying all my gear around for now. When DB comes out and I can store gear in the bank I'll probably get the banker.

Not even if my hair was on fire, and the assistants came with a bucket of water. Way to limited for a $40 price tag.

About the Fence assistant,..you cant launder anything or get your bounty removed. So,she just buys items. And takes her 35% off the top. I'd prefer it to be like 15% or 20% instead.

Yep, I called that portable fence once*, sold one item to them, and then deactivated it.

*Actually called it a few times as you have to Quickslot the thing to use it, and it I kept calling it rather than my potion. So, I would die as Fence was crouching by my side. At least they were not tea bagging me.....

Oh NOOO!! Re-key your potions and the assistant.I didnt use a mapped key.

Having bought both I can tell you the banker only gives access to your personal bank and the merchant can only be sold to, she actually sells or repairs nothing.

The banker is really useful for swapping gear between characters and during dungeons etc, the merchant is really only useful for grinding until she can repair.

Yes, the Banker is great for having your whole garderobe of possibly needed Armor set pieces available at all times.
and even better when the Crafter bag is there freeing up inventory space.

    There is only one but...
And that is that you can by mistake deconstruct some of your valuable armor set pieces.

I think it would be a blessing if we get the option to tag such items to protect them from decon by mistake.

There are a few mods that let you tag them. One has small blue markers to the side if each item so you are aware that it is part of a set you like.

I have Wykkds (sp) outfitter and any equipment that is part of a saved set is tagged with a big blue arrow next to it. Not sure this would fit your need, but keeps me from deconning extra sets I have on me.

Yes,that was the mod I was speaking about. :)

Hell no! 5000 crowns is an absolute joke when the game doesn't even run properly, I know they are a business and need to make money but surely making the game run smooth and proper should be absolutely #1 priority, then I very possibly could purchase the assistants ... When the game doesn't work as intended and keeps getting worse - then I'm just waiting for the next MMO/big game to release, which I can put my 5000crowns worth of £s towards hahaha

I'm curious.. how much in £ does 5000 crowns cost?

    in america 100 crown = 1 dollar

    137.5 Crowns = 1 dollar actually. (5500 crowns for 39.99)

Depends on where you live in the world. 5500 crowns would cost me $67.12.

    5K a piece

Almost more then I payed for the entire game, twice.

No I did not and I have the crowns to spare.

I rather don't enjoy being gouged.

I will purchase the banker for gear-swaps and thinning inventory while questing/dungeon running. Price is high for the convenience but better than skins i will never wear or pets i will never run. The price would be much better if i could access guild bank and guild store, no question.

As an aside given the usual plethora of ZOS dis-noise coming up through the gutter grates - i am perfectly happy with ZOS monetizing via the crown store and appreciate their resisting the temptation to sell game-changing items vs game-enhancing & game-convenience items. If they keep delivering great DLC content that i enjoy, i may even spend crowns on some vanity items just to support their efforts....

People complaining about the price... should have bought more 5500 Crown packs when they were $23.99 a couple of weeks ago... then you'd only be paying HALF price for the assistants. Glad I stocked up on Crowns when they were on sale.

I got them both, the Banker acts exactly like an Outlaw Refuge Banker. The merchant allows only selling, there is no basic stuff you can buy from her so she just opens straight into a traditional NPC sales window. They both follow you around inside a soft zone, so if you are in a building when you summon them they'll follow you but the moment you leave they disappear.

It would raise their value a bit if you could add them to the Q hotkey menu and summon them quickly rather than having to open your Collectables window every time you want to summon one.

    They are very convenient.

They are not IMHO worth 5000 Crowns.

IMO they are a 2000 Crown item (or maybe 2500 Crowns like special mounts)... They are not worth the cost of every DLC to date for both of them. If I was a Dev who created the fantastic DLC's we've gotten thus far I'd be pretty insulted.

They would be worth 5000 Crowns if you could have full bank access i.e various Guild Banks and Guild Sales. The merchant... IDK what would make it worth 5000 Crowns... Maybe if it sold boxes that had random chances at drops of special skins etc. like the IC Tel Var Merchants?

Anyhooser, there's my review. I believe it to be an honest and fair review.

    I just thought of something.
Will the banker assistant be our main bank account? Or will it be separate. If separate, that would mean we'd have two banks.
If that was the case,I could deal with paying for it.
