I don't understand why it has become popular to call people exploiters for scaling dungeons down. Do you know how hard it is to follow and read up on quest conversations, if you are in a trial group?

Honestly I will scale that dungeon down, just to be able to collect notes to read, follow the quest and actually understand some of it, unlike all the other trials where I had to rush through, to catch up with my group.

And no, if I know that 11 people in my group wants to rush, I will not ask them to slow down for my personal immersions sake. It's basically due to the same reason I don't wear my special snowflake builds and gear when I join group content, because if I join a team as a healer and vigor is my only heal, I think they will be fairly disappointed in my contribution to the group.

I have absolutley no issue with scaling a dungeon/trial down if even to just have fun doing it. I have an issue with Titles and Achievments from them being handed out while scaled down.

    ^ This

They should make it so you don't get credit for the achievement unless you are the same level or lower than the scale.

Agreed. I have also seen someone with the skin without having completed the dungeon on vet. He quickly put it away once we called him out on it and I know for a fact he and another group of people did the same to get the Hoarver pet. Like @Function said, I don't care if they're scaling it down because its too hard for them. The Titles and Achievments should not be something they earn from using this exploit. And yes we have reported this and will continue to until it gets fixed (if ever).

    Thank you so much!

    He looks absolutely fantastic!
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

I for one am not whining about the approach, I just wanted to know what it looked like... A lot of people play ESO, I'm just surprised there hasn't been some really dedicated group that has unlocked it yet to be able to show it off. Not meaning to be greedy or bitchy, just...surprised.

Kind of speaks to the difficulty I guess, which is a good thing with all the complaints about the game being too easy.

People are forced to scale it down to like vet level one for group leader because of how really difficult they made it.
Basically they might be force to nerf it, otherwise no one will do it because its basically the hardest dungeon ever made.
They were forced to nerf it on pts because of the fact they could not test it without the nerf. I am hoping they do nerf this but also keep it challenging It should not be impossible but possible. You do not see anyone on leader boards because of the difficulty.

LMAO. It is difficult content and you want to point out how no one has beat it yet... DLC has been out for how many days??!! And yet there is at least one group already at the final boss, and they will likely have it beat within days.

You are the same player who has already posted a thread to nerf the trial so that you can more easily get the skin. It is a skin! It is not worth nerfing content over for you to get more easily. If you want the skin that bad, just go beat it on scaled down vet 1.

This game is casual friendly, extremely so!. Stop whining when they introduce something difficult. VMSA, sure, whine about if you must since powerful weapons are locked behind it and it is solo content. But this is group content and you get a skin for beating it...just cosmetics. Stop whining.

I hope they do not nerf it. It will upset a lot of players if they do.

You cant scale it to vet 1 to get the skin the achievement clearly states it has to be at cp 160

but yeah it needs nerfing it is impossible to do on vet lvl and id love the skin but they've made it a reward that people cant get

Nice necro. Just fyi it was scaleable to vet1 and you could get the achievement/skin at that level when it initially released. they changed it to the cp160 requirement in a later patch. 90% of players you'll see with that skin got it that way - 100% of those players will say they didn't lol.

That much difficulty just for a skin?

No thanks. I'd want super armour or weapons for a dungeon like that.

I think they should make the skin gained from normal mode, and super Armour and weapons and monster drops from the vet dungeon. That way people would most likely run it and we both get what we both want lol. You get your weapons and armor and I get the skin, its a fair trade!

Also what could also encourage people to buy the dlc is if they could add a very very very very very very rare chance for an emperors costume to drop, with theives troves and thus you are able to get the outfit without having to farm emp for it. I would like to see them make some changes with the dlc itself. Make it worth it for people to own it. Make it worth it to be a thief! They could also add the very very very very very very rare chance at receiving a monster set item.

Obeying the law does not do much in the way of profit. In elder scrolls universe it should be a lifestyle thievery in order to progress sometimes or get nice things!

Some things should only be earned through effort.

I'll never be an emperor and I damn well know it, so I'll never get the costume. I'm fine with it. People who put in the effort should be able to retain that privilege.

There aren't many things in the game like this really, some dyes and skins. More casual players have plenty to choose from already, let the dedicated hard workers keep their special rewards.

If I worked really hard for something and then suddenly everybody had it, I'd be pretty deflated.

Although that kind of did happen when I finally got all of the glass chapters and then it appeared in the crown store :(
