How Much Would You Pay for the New Assistants?

1000-1500 crowns would have been reasonable and I would have bought both - but now I will buy none of them.

    Would I prefer less, sure.
Especially for the vendor, but I honestly expected 5,000 when they were announced. So I was not shocked.

Seriously?- I can buy a complete triple-A game for the price of such an assistant - so what do you think I will go for?

It's convenience, nothing more. I will be just fine running to the bank and stopping at the local merchant along the way.

SOOOOOO..........I would be willing to pay nothing but have no problems with Zenimax choosing to charge what they are for the assistants. Pay it or don't but STOP freakin' QQing over a convenience item.

    Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

Edit: Honestly (and I acknowledge this is just my opinion), the assistants are probably the most useless thing selling in the Crown Store right now. I've spent gold and crowns on bank and storage space across three characters including one mule. My bank space is maxed out.

At this point, if I can't carry something to a wayshrine and then take it to either the bank or a merchant, I just don't need it at all.

    Meh.

I know they are a for profit company, but I would bet a weeks pay if I had a weeks pay lol, that they would have sold more at 2k than they will at 5k, and made a lot more money.

You can actually, kinda, see that in the survey responses. (Both mine and the one @UrQuan posted.)
Yeah, I'd say the 2 surveys show that pretty well. For anyone who hasn't voted in the other one, here's the link (you won't see it on the front page ever because the thread got closed by a mod):
    http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/256386/at-5000-crowns-each-will-you-buy-the-new-assistants/p1

To be honest I'm baffled that this thread is still going given the reasoning they gave for why they closed the other survey. Hopefully they won't close and sink this survey too.

I can't think of a situation that the assistants would be all that beneficial compared to just going to the find a merchant or banker. If the world in ESO was massive and back tracking were more difficult and/or detrimental I could see more appeal.

Ah, too bad. Regular bank is already easily available in the outlaw refuge. What I really need is guild bank and guild store access, currently only available in Coldharbour if you have a bounty.

Convenience items need to be conveniently priced or I don't ever humor the thought of buying them.

5,000 Crowns Would Be Fine, If They Were a Bundle
I have been saving my crowns for the assistants, but I figured on about 2500 a piece max. So a 5k bundle would be what I consider to be the high side of reasonable, but I'm not sure if I'd buy them at that price or not. Anyway, I can now spend my crowns on something else. I'd like that cat mount, but I'm guessing that will be over priced too. So maybe I'll get some of those new outfits now and maybe even a camel. *spit*

They'd be handy to have on the rare occasion I'm caught with a full bag in an area far from a wayshrine, heading to town and sorting my inventory is a relaxing and welcome break from the grind anyway, I'd have rather these had been someting you could earn access to by completing a quest line, there's no way I'd pay 5000 crowns each, fools and their money are easily parted though so zos is laughing all the way to the bank with this one.

Its kind of silly, the cost, when it would be half the price of one of the assistants to just purchase a second account(when on sale) to mail your items to.

With 200 bag slots i don`t feel its needed but for a reasonable price i`d buy it as its marginally useful and keeps the game going.

For 5k tho no. A DLC Is 2-3k and has stuff i want to see/so, this is just an item you rarely use if at all, so no way its worth 2 dlc`s.
