Eso can wear on people, lag can make you wanna cry, and the learning curve is pretty steep no matter the class you play.
So lets remind some people that it is a game, and it's meant to be enjoyed with some tips and philosophies!
My 10 tips:
1. Get in a pve guild to devote your time to...without people to talk to and associate with any game will feel empty and pointless.
2. Steer clear of PVP prime time, lag is crippling and you need to run "lag free" skills to even land hits and make kills
3. Acknowledge you arn't the best, and even if you consider yourself the best... Listen and experiment there is always more to be learned.
4. Don't be scared to make niche builds.

5. Use addons if your on PC, it makes the game so much better, and it's essential in many cases to nail down rotations and test builds to see if they're viable
6. Refine pvp builds at dueling locations (like arboretum district on haderus) (its more fun then you think)
7. If something is not fun, stop doing it. If grinding for 10 hours isn't your cup of tea, go pugging in lfg, run quests, do solo player challenges, dual, and chit chat with guildies. I suggest 3 trade guilds, 1 pvp guild, 1 pve guild... and to always be in Teamspeak to keep the blood flowing.
8. Save your gold. Nothing is worse then the constant stress of being broke. Don't put yourself in that position, be frugal and keep a few hundred thousand atleast.
9. Avoid rage quitters and people that just generally make you unhappy. there are thousands of players. find your click and join a pve/pvp guild together.
10. Make/find a core group. 4~8 players you can count on, gear up together with, and run over tactics with. the game because 1000% more fun, and dungeons become alot easier working with the same people on a day to day basis.
