In the end with these situations it all comes down to if you have fast internet and plugged directly in rather than wireless.

You might not be zerg-balling, then you have a diferent experience than others.

Not really, the bandwidth used by MMOs is rather low.

Prior to 1.5 ESO could have 200+ battles on screen in PVP without lag. Sound FX would cut out usually but that's about it. Skills would activate right away, no red +999 latency and absolutely no lag what so ever in the PVE areas.
The reason those asian MMO's can handle so many people on screen is because they put a lot of the load onto the client. Sounds good right? Nope, that is also the reason why asian MMO's are littered with bots and are vulnerable to cheats.

Team ganking is not ganking. Just throwing that out there....
GW2 also suffers when large amounts of players are on screen (world bosses & world vs world). So this is not the only game that suffers from skill lag, rubber banding, lag in general where large amounts of players in one spot is concerned.
GW2 suffers in fps loss on weaker machines during most massive events, its simple - you have one you set graphics on low and your fps never goes below 25 which is low i admit but playable. I never, repeat never had problem with consistent lag in gw2 and i play it on/off since launch.

There has to be a happy medium though. Make the backend check us upon loading in to Cyrodiil for cheats and then leave us alone. Maybe check us again when we port back to main gate or every couple hours.
Otherwise, what us the point of Cyrodiil? It has always been advertised as large siege battles.
Just killed a world boss in BDO. Over 200 people on my screen spamming spells and no lag.
No more excuses.
