You know - I never thought of that - problem solved! Guys we don't need the barber shop at all any more.

Just add in an additional option in settings for us crafters "Hide Helmet whilst crafting"

There is some other astetic bugs that I have noted in other posts - you can get around these by adding in a "Make screen always black" option.

As long as they offer free Race changes I don't care what the charge for. They changed the game severely making the months and month of work into characters much less valuable, also know as wasted.

To PVP on some classes with an off race is just terrible, and made worse by nerfed and removed skills, I'd love a Class change to be honest. I've got a V16 that's just been nerfed into the dirt and simply crafts, which sucks because to harvest V16 mats I have to grind crafting on new toons. **** ZOS. Now I just play low level toons (despite having 3 maxed toons) waiting for crap to get better when I bother to log in at all.

I'd rather have a generic looking character that plays a 1 of 4 balanced classes, with skills that actually work.

Something that I'd really love to see other than barbershops, is the possibility to have costume in different body parts, with every single piece being dyeable separately. But I know it'll just be my pesonal wet dream... Heck, we're struggling for a common barbershop, fragmented-costumes would just be utopia.

It would be so much better to have at least costume-headgears, as they would not be as "invasive" as costumes are currently... And if I'm not wrong, this is a concept ZOS has already implemented in the game, with the Cadwell's Pot... Am I right? I'd love to see one of my characters wearing those turbans you commonly see in Hew's-that-place (the new TG dlc zone, I mean).

Any thoughts on these concepts or do you have a different idea of how this should work.

I wouldn't mind a chest and posterior alteration service. One of my female characters has about 20% more protrusion in each of those areas than is optimal, and a bit of reduction would be nice.

Cool ideas, guys! We'll pass this along to the team for some extra feedback. :)

I would love the option to change races (ONLY Looks, not the passives!). So i could actualy play an altmer with red hair again :D

Hair colour shouldn't be limited by race, you can dye your armour but not your hair? or is hair dye too advanced for Tamriel? ;)

What's really important to me is the ability to tweak an existing character, any attribute at all. The character creation screen only goes so far to let you know how you'll actually look in game. I have rerolled so many characters after getting them to level five or so because some small, unforeseen choice turned into a big aggravation.

For example, a very Nord girl's lips had an odd shadowing around the mouth in most lighting--but not on the creation screen, alas. Another character was rerolled because her teeth ended up showing in-game as if she were breathing through her mouth, despite this not really being apparent in creation.

Height frequently isn't *just* right, since one can't judge it by wandering around other characters or running around to get a feel for it. One male high elf I made was deleted after I decided that his run speed felt lumbering compared to my nimble girls. A little more leeway would also be appreciated in the height for the races. My high elf girl feels a little towering with the height all the way down. I'm not asking to be as tiny as a wood elf, but a bit more choice in the range would be nice for all the races.

For every character I've created, there's always been something that I wished mightily to be able to correct without going back to the drawing board, level one. Ear tips that stuck from a hairstyle, a voice selection that turned out to be less than optimal, hips that weren't curvy enough, breasts that weren't as proportional as hoped, eyes that were too startled or too sleepy, an adornment that became distracting, and so on.

Recently, I unfortunately chose the same body tattoo for a new character, forgetting I'd already taken it on a previous character. I wanted each character I made to have mostly unique styles, different hair, different tats. And more regrettable was the preview in the crown shop of the outfits I was interested in that displayed the hips with magnified tattoos. If I could have undone the body tats easily, I'd have purchased the outfits on a whim. But as it was a choice of rerolling or living with a glitch, I didn't purchase them. I know it's been improved since then, but it is still a little enlarged and off to me.

New hairstyles, tattoos, decorative items--those are all wonderful and exciting things to look forward to, but for me, the delight is in the details, and the bedevilment is in not being able to alter these when I notice them. I would love to be able to refine my characters a slider or two at a time for something less than a king's ransom or a princess's manicure.

And it would be terrific to be able to test the changes for a short amount of in-game time, such as ten, fifteen minutes so that I can see how the new appearance feels in different lighting. At the end of the preview, we'd be notified the test was up, would we pay x sum of gold to keep our alterations or prefer to return to original settings. For this not to be abused by people wanting to be bald for fifteen minutes for shock value to their friends or some such prank, the changes need not be viewable by others. Or the in-game section could be an instance with npc's of assorted heights and races and various lighting conditions.

Of course, if the price is low enough, that sort of testing wouldn't be necessary--one could just rinse and repeat with gradual changes until their character has the personality and appearance that suits them best.

To sum it up, I'm thrilled to see any alterations post-creation arrive, but I hope it isn't assumed that the big changes are always what matter most--the bold new hairstyle or fancy new jewelry. Sometimes, it's the slightest upturn in a smile that is most desired. =)

I would love it if I could give my male Redguard ear piercings without picking a specific hairstyle that gives them to him, why are they lumped in together anyway? Could there be piercing options under adornments too, like when I created my female Altmer? That would be awesome, I have no need for facial markings anymore since vampirism fades those (on a side note could that please be fixed too?).

Also just because I enjoy beating a dead horse here, any chance I could tweak the ridiculous purple-ness my Redguard got post-vampirism? I'm totally fine with going pale, but purple =/= pale. I feel like it's never going to change but I'm remaining optimistic!

But yeah I mean I'd just take the basic character creator as is right now, two of my characters are annoying me with their appearance and as silly as it may sound it's sapping my motivation to play them.

Would we be able to edit the appearance of our character, in case we don't like how we designed our character during character creation?

By that I mean, I don't mean scars, hair and tattoos. I'm talking about changing their actual physical appearance. Except being able to change gender and race.

But then again, this is more of a "surgeon" kind of thing and not a "barber" thing.

My characters do not look the same anymore compared to how they were in April 2014.
Somehow the patches did change their appearance... not much... but the expression of the faces have changed.

So I would really like to tune my characters back to how they were.

And yes, that is more than a barber shop.

I think it should be in an ayleid site, much like the one under Elden Root.

A tranmogrificon left for the ages -- like others rumored to still exist in the world it will show a persons true inner self.

Excepting perhaps gender (because I think it might cause costume issues and for no other reason) and height/weight I would like to see anything and everything editable along with an enhanced and additional menu of new spiffy items.

I just hope you can tweek all the sliders, if with nothing else then with rl money. I made my toon right after psn version dropped. I love his look but his face was off just a touch. I know its just a bit, but it bugs me when i see it. His eyes are slightly to close and his jaw is a might wider then I like. And also his cheek bones are ever just barely to high.

I would pay to fix these issues that I'm sure only I notice.

When they first announced fome post-chargen recustomization features, they were maybe thinking of canging hairstyles and such, because that is where the name "Barbershop" came from. That was back in fall 2014...

Since then, a lot of voices have been whining all over the forums (Yes, mine among them, often enough) about the desire for more. People who made their characters back in the early days when the chargen bug made zooming in to see their face a no-go. People who made a character that looked okay in chargen, but not so great in live game. People who forgot to adjust that one last slider, never noticed until they got trough the mainstory, and now despair about that one little character detail. People who did not spend enough time and proper effort in thinking up decent character names for their alts, and now deeply regret that. And of course, people who cannot bear to miss out on that last percentage point of super-effectiveness because their racials are not quite matching up with their class/build...

Thos the current recustomization feature is announced to include more then just haircuts... to recap from their "Year Ahead":
...expect to see information about systems like a character customization shop so you can change your character's gender, appearance, name, etc.,

And yes, some of us keep hoping themy might split the whole thing, make a "Barbershop" stall in every major city for "everyday" changes like haircut, adornments or makeup switch... perhaps even for a mere gold cost... and a "Plastic Sorceror" somewhere in an outlaw hideout who would allow full recustomization for crowns, possibly including racechange for those who really, really want it (there is precendent in the game after all). Oh, and perhaps also a "Recordkeeper Clerk" in your faction capital who for a small bribe of crowns will "update the offciial records with a new name"...
It would be cool if they did it that way.
But coolest would be if they did it...
    Sooner! Sooner! Sooner! ;)

EXPRESSIONS! Somewhere along the way our characters all lost their facial expressions and never got them back! It used to be if you did the /no emote your character would actually SCOWL and then their expression would STAY that way until you performed ANOTHER emote with an expression attached. /agree would actually cause your character to smile and stay smiling. /shrug would return you to a neutral expression. But for a very long time now our characters have basically had no expression at all and I find it really disappointing! GIVE US BACK OUR EXPRESSIONS ZOS!

My big ask is that the whole addition to this also includes adding back the female chest models.
I don't know who made all men and women are created equal model but i'd like that go away

Then...just base this off of in game gold and I think you offer a crown option but it needs to be pretty cheap like 50 crowns or something.

Lol, they said it was being worked on a year ago haha. They sure are taking their time considering a lot of the basics are already there with character creation. I am convinced they are extremely understaffed at this point.
