[BUG] Caltrops is charging stamina even though it doesn't activate

I was in pvp last night after the thieves guild patch for xbox one. Noticed my stamina was burning much quicker. One reason i found was caltrops charging you for the stamina even though it does not activate. This occurs when you target a spot that does not want to accept caltrops, like accidentally/purposefully clicking a wall.

    @ZOS_GinaBruno With the way stamina has been gutted these things should be a priority fix.

    Yep
    i noticed on the first day of pvp since TG, that caltrops was draining me.
    Idk what it was, but im not gonna bother finding out.

    I simply removed caltrops from my bar since it seems that everytime i put it on i am always <30% stam. Every. Time. Even with Unchained.

    Tentatively next Monday for PC. As we just launched Thieves Guild on console this week, that incremental patch likely won't be until next month sometime.

    Looking at the clip it seemed as if it did infact throw the caltrops, but they landed on ground level, instead of where you were aiming. This would explain the stamina consumption.

    Yeah that's exactly what I thought at first too. I wanted to question it, but since the video doesn't actually show what we're looking for, I didn't criticize or raise issue. It's safe to presume that the video is true, considering it happens to more than just one person, and ZOS actually responded to it.

    I would tend to agree, however, I tested it more then what is shown in the video. The video is the only time I recorded it. I don't have a Kinect so no "Xbox Record That" I have to double tap the home button which takes me out of control of my character. Not exactly good for pvp. Also, you will notice that the animation for caltrops never shows and I'm not animation cancelling in the video. I feel this is a genuine bug and not related to lag or any other issue.
