Haeiko (the ones that give you tri stats) Essence Runes for 50 Gold right after IC dropped.
Other than that, I just find occasional bargains but nothing of note.

✭I'm always finding Xivkyn Legs Motif for 1-3k each. I think people sometimes confuse them with the Shoulders, Boots, etc. that sell for that price.
The deal I am most proud of was a vet 16 agility ring with robust on it for 3k. It had a magicka enchant on it, but the enchant was getting switched to weapon damage anyway.

Often i decide to complete a set and buy needed item whilst levelling an alt recently i got dreuger king neck for 210g, Some 1k rosin (price on PS4 is 6k), and bought a lot of 100g cyrodil treasure maps before people cottoned on that they contained the new sets (orsinium/wrothgar at the time).

on the other scale I managed to sell mercenary chests for 30k gold when they first started dropping

I've been selling things off lately. If you're on XBox and shop in Craglorn chances are you've gotten a really good deal from Dk of House Experience. I made about 150k last week liquidating my inventory. Alloys for 7k, barbaric motif for 6k, VR16 mats for 100 gold each. I only sell in the Tamriel Exchange but I might be the biggest undercutter out there these days.0 -

Actually if you bought it from a decent trading guild, and you play on PC platform ....chances are that they sold it deliberately for a low price, to make Master Merchant addon prices to show that item for a cheaper price than normal, so that the members of that guild think it's worth less ...thus sell their goods for a cheaper price next time, and this way the guild gets more costumers than other trading guilds. If you bought it from a small guild, then it was probably a mistake or a noob-mistake
