    Also Wrobel said when asked about why they were doing a PVP expansion first he said "PVE has gotten all the love for a long time. Now its PVP's turn IC is a PVP expansion.". So you might want to talk to ZOS because they think it WAS a PVP expansion. I remember you guys talking about IC being so awesome. You wanted all these sheep to slaughter. You guys were literally drooling over being able to loot people who cant fight back.

    I've seen this mentioned a few times in various threads now, so i'll clarify some here. Imperial City is meant for the PVP player - it's their turn for some love. If you love PVE and are clamoring for more of that type of content, the Orsinium DLC will be exactly what you want.

    Totally a PvP update. That's why Brian Wheeler is on record stating that IC was "basically a PvE zone with PvP enabled."

    That's a way better description, I think. It's still super fun and the best place to go for lagless fights right now, but all the Daedra floating around makes it less than ideal.

    What they "advertised" it as and what it actually is are two different things. For over a year it was advertised as aPvP update, and then everything they advertised they removed, like the capturing districts. It's like they dangled a donut in front of the PvP community to keep us going, and once we finally got it, we realized it's a plastic squeak toy.

    They gutted the PvP elements they advertised it having. The expansion has zero PvP objectives, and it's filled with PvE.

    If that's their idea of "showing PvP some love," then we really are screwed...

    One of the most frustrating parts of IC is that if the Districts were PvP areas, they would be a lot of fun to fight in. They're well designed areas with good elevation, layout, and design, but without PvP objectives and littered with annoying NPCs that make one bad dodge roll a fatal mistake, they're empty and boring.

    IC was fun to fight in the first week or two after release (right there you can see it's a pve update)...mostly the sewers because that's where everyone was located...outside of bombing a group clearing a mini boss, or the center, there really wasn't much pvp to be had there as there was no objectives to be fighting over...so while zos night have advertised IC as a PvP update, what they advertised (which iirc was something along the lines of capture-able districts and clear objectives) and what they delivered were two completely different things

    Don't see how infused is bad? I run infused on big pieces and divines on small as criticals don't affect sorc shields.. At least it's not all well-fitted! lol

    Its not "white knighting" to discuss factual information. I was talking to someone else about how the IC DLC was a PVP DLC and not a PVE DLC. Has nothing to do with defending or not defending ZOS. I was just pointing out I was correct.

    Magicka sorcerer is the only class/spec in the game that doesn't need to wear impen since shields cannot be crit yet today. Enjoy stacking more magicka and get all 3 advantages in the meantime (damage, defense, sustain).

    • Fix Volendrung (spawn location - weapon white on the map causing the wielder to keep it forever - usable with emperorship)
    • Remove / Change CPs System, remove current CP/noCP campaigns and introduce one 30days with lock, one with no locks
    • Fix crashes when approaching a keep under attack because of bad / wrong rendering prioritization system
    • Change emperorship to value faction score points and not alliance points - see this and this
    • Fix long loading screens (mostly caused by players joining group out of rendering range)
    • Add 2 more quickslots to the wheel or add a different wheel for sieges weaponry only
    • Fix Balista Bolts not dealing damage on walls or doors if deployed at a certain place
    • Release bigger battlegrounds with 8 to 16 players per team and only two teams

    That's exactly what I thought. So don't know what that guy is on about lol I run all impen on my stamplar as he does not have a lot of shields to stack like my sorcerer does which is not affected by crits that's why I found infused & divines to benefit me a lot more.

    The guy is obviously a pve scrub that's upset that we change the game too much so as to make his pve runs a little more challenging...heaven forbid that this game be anything but a face roll for PvE...

    There are no objectives in IC so one goes there except for PVErs and people grinding exp...sounds like a pve zone to me

    lol. some people dont know difference between pvp and ava. this is Essentially AvA game with PVE on the side. and yeah Imperial city dlc is PVE content with PVP as an sidekick to atract pvp:ers to farm the pve heroes who cant defend themself against players since they too damn used to fight npc:s.

    • Fix Balista Bolts not dealing damage on walls or doors if deployed at a certain place
    • Release bigger battlegrounds with 8 to 16 players per team and only two teams

    • Gives players 10 minutes to get back into Cyrodiil after relogging / crashing
    • Add a function to ignore the Claiming system of useless rewards

    Most people do fill their quota on "Kill Sorcerer" bounties.
    Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.

    Its not a PVP update, it was in its early incarnation that was showed at the guild summit in 2014 but that all changed with the B2P and they changed it from a PVP update to a PVe grind zone.

    IPC is nothing more then Craglorn where you can kill players, thats hardly PVP....every 3 meters is a pack of trash mobs, every single fight is interfered in by trash mobs, thats why no one goes there...complete waste of time...its nothing more then a PVe grind zone.

    the only people there are those grinding toons of grinding trophies for a vault, no one would want to PVP in a zone where every single fight is decided and interupted by Craglorn type mobs....hence why the majority of PVP is in up top Cyrodiil.

    You just don't get it do you? If IC was a PvP expansion it would have changed the rules of Cyrodiil and how the map is played.

    1. Sewer access would have been locked unless you met certain conditions in Cyrodiil.

    2. Districts would have been able to be captured by alliances. Adding to the campaign score and preventing other alliances from resurrecting or popping up there until they retook it.

    3. Quite possibly could have opened up changes for acquiring Emperor.

    4. Most importantly, would be used today for active PvP. Right now, it's a ghost town.

    All Imperial City is right now is a place that I can go quest and have the possibility of an enemy player attacking me. Reminds me of PvP servers on World of Warcraft. Sure, it's "Player vers Player", but not the type of PvP that I want for an AvAvA game.

    You need to separate ZOS statements and what actually happens.

    If ZOS tells you that they are making trees green, and you log in and they are brown, are you just going to agree with ZOS that the trees are green?

    Wow... Just wow... What's mind-boggling is your insistence that IC is a PvP update...

    ZOS could [urinate] on your head and tell you it's raining and you'd believe them and say "Hey guys come dance in the rain puddles with me!"

    1. It was a shoulder piece up for sale this week, infused is bad for that slot across the board, its literally 30 more magicka versus 250 crit resistance or ~75 regen.
    2. Everything but a magicka sorc NEEDS impen on their gear and these traits should be determined by what an already incredibly strong spec wants although I would be ok if they made infuse/impen available on heads and divines/impen available on shoulders each week. Impen is the more widely useful trait though so if only one trait is possible it should be impen.
